T-Ball
The Tee Ball program is for players 4-6 years old who want to learn the fundamentals of hitting and fielding. In Tee Ball, players hit a ball off a batting tee. Rules of the game may be varied to accommodate the need for teaching. The primary goals of Tee Ball are to have fun, to instruct children in the fundamentals of baseball and softball and to allow them to experience the value of teamwork Pony Tail Softball Pitching Machine The Machine Pitch program gives kids between the ages of 7 and 8 year olds their first chance to hit off of "live" pitching. The pitches are delivered from a pitching machine that throws the ball fairly straight and consistently into the strike zone. This allows children to develop the confidence to stand in the batters box and take good swings without the fear of being hit by a wild pitch. Game scores and official scorebook are kept. The focus of the league is truly developmental and instructional. Players are selected onto teams usually based on a skill level where the teams are ensured to be even.
