06-22-09 9-10 softball wins the 1st round of the All Stars -
We won in the 6th inning, the game from the first inning was up by 2 down by 3, etc. we were home and in the sixth inning with bases loaded game tied (several parents on the edge of there seats) 1 out, a fly ball was hit right between 1st and 2nd base - run scored game over ... Great game I wish all of you could have been there. The coaches and the girls did a wonderful job sticking in there and just playing the game.
A big THANK YOU to everyone who supported us at our spring basket bingo on May 3rd. Our next league fundraising event is the Blue Crabs League Night July 18th. See the link below for details. Hope to see you and yours for a fun night at the ballpark!

Little League Pledge
I trust in God
I love my country
and will respect its laws.
I will play fair and strive to win
But win or lose
I will always do my best.
Calvert County National Little League recognizes that children of Little League are in their formative and impressionable years and through good leadership and training, teaches the children the values of teamwork, leadership, fair play, loyalty and discipline. We believe lessons learned on the baseball diamond are applicable to every facet of a youngster's life. Sportsmanship, courtesy, respect and fair play are important on the field, at school and in the home.
Members of the board of directors as well as coaches, team moms and other persons affiliated with CNLL work on a volunteer basis. We volunteer our time because Calvert County is a great place for children (yours and ours) to learn about the greatest game in the world: Baseball/Softball.
