Central Massachusetts Senior Babe Ruth: Code of Conduct

Code of Conduct
The Central Mass Senior Babe Ruth organization follows the MIAA Rules with respect to conduct and behavior of its managers, coaches, players and fans.

We have adopted a strict League Code of Conduct that all players, managers, coaches, umpires, and fans must adhere to. A copy of the form for players and managers is attached.

We will have zero tolerance of any unsportsman-like behavior. The league is set up to play baseball, not be a playground for people who can not respect others. Keep this in mind when you come to the ball field.

CMSRBR CODE OF CONDUCT
As a player in the Central Massachusetts Senior Babe Ruth League, I hereby agree to the following Code of Conduct:

1.        To abide by the rules of the League and to practice good sportsmanship at all time.

2.        To refrain from using profanity, obscene gestures, or any form of verbal or physical abuse toward coaches, teammates, opposing players, umpires or spectators.

3.        To wear my team uniform properly and with pride. This includes a hat, shirt, pants, and stirrups all cleaned prior to the game and kept in good repair.

4.        There is a “zero tolerance” policy towards the use/possession of tobacco, alcohol, and drugs. Any violation will result in an immediate expulsion from the League.

I understand by violating either the League Rules or the League Code of Conduct that I will be subject to suspension and for a repeat offense I could be banished from the League. The decision body for this action may be the coach, town director, or the League Board.

As a player, I will commit myself to being the best role model, on and off the field, and to working my hardest to benefit my team. As a parent, I will demonstrate behaviors that emulate good citizenship and sportsmanship, and will support my child in fulfilling the programs expectations identified above.
