Welcome to the site of the Cullman Middle School Football Team.  We are using this site to keep players, family, and friends updated with important information.  Check regularly for updates.

Don't forget that you can begin turning in raffle ticket sales the first day of summer training.  An officer of the QB club will be available to collect your sales.  Remember each player is asked to sale $100.  We want to be able to keep our players in safe equipment and provide the program with equipment & items needed to benefit our football program!

The summer schedule is Monday and Thursday beginning June 22nd @ CMS Workout Room:

8th grade team:  6:30AM - 8:30AM - Coach Turner has talked with Steve Johnson about the conflict on Thursday's - Coach Turner requires all 8th graders to train at CMS on both Monday & Thursday, therefore, Steve will offer the training for 8th graders only at $50 since they will miss 4 of the 6 weeks on Thursday.

7th grade team:  7:30AM - 8:30AM - Coach Turner will allow any 7th grader taking Steve Johnson's class this summer to train with Steve on Thursday morning  instead of coming to CMS - he will get an attendance list from Steve and count those players as attending practice.  (Again, this only applies to the 7th graders)

Steve Johnson has agreed to offer a summer training camp geared for the CMS Football team and in line with Coach Turner's training objectives for any player wanting that extra edge.  The camp will run for 6 weeks begining June 9th - Tuesdays and Thursdays - from 6:30AM to 8:00AM.   If there is enough participation Steve will look at also offering an afternoon class.  The cost of the camp is $100 for 7th graders who will attend 6 weeks twice a week.  The cost of the camp is $50 for 8th graders who will attend twice a week the for weeks 1 and 2, but only on Tuesdays for weeks 3 - 6.  (These prices are a great bargain for the training received!)  Players that have chosen to particiapate in Steve's camps in prior years feel like the extra training in strength, endurance and agility give them an extra edge on the field against the opponent!  Each session begins and ends with devotion/prayer to prepare and protect the athletes' bodies and attitudes.  Steve has moved his facility out of TPSA into the basement of the old Southpark Auto building (across from Domino's Pizza).  For more information contact Steve Johnson at (256)709-2197 or ychamps@bellsouth.net.
