FIELD MAINTENANCE DAY
February 24 / Time TBD
February 25 / 9:00am Our fields are great but it takes a constant volunteer force to keep them in good shape. Come out and join our many dedicated coach and parent volunteers one of these days in making every field better for our players. Bring rakes, hoes, shovels, brooms, blowers and wheelbarrows if you got em! Please contact CMNLL Player Representative Trent Christ @ twchrist@yahoo.com to volunteer or with any questions. Be sure to check the calendar or Facebook for updates to the schedule the week of the 20th. Note: Your players may attend with you however they may not be on the fields during this time and no supervision will be provided. FRIDAY - FEBRUARY 24th / Time TBD Farm fields are receiving new Clay. Morning: Deep drag fields. Late morning/early afternoon: Spreading new clay with Bobcat, shovels, rakes and drags. SATURDAY - FEBRUARY 25th / 9:00am Tee Ball field: Edge grass and get some dirt moved over there. Drill new holes for fence poles Put up fences and make sure we got it right Clean up bins and dugout areas Drill new holes for new fences. Spread clay evenly and try to make it level Water Field Farm fields: (Farm 1 and Farm 2) Drill new holes for fence poles Put up fences and make sure we got it right Clean up bins, dugouts and bleacher areas Spread clay evenly making it level Spray paint bases Install base plugs Water Field Minor B Field: Build bleachers Edge infield Drag and smooth clay Resurface pitching mound Clean up/smooth pitching/catching warm up areas Spray paint bases Install base plugs Clean bins, backstop and dugouts. Water Minor A Field: Edge infield Water Majors Field: Clean dugouts Fix leaking sprinklers |
