CMFSA Strikers: Welcome

Congratulations to the efforts put forward by the CMFSA Strikers. They shocked their opposing teams in the CMFSA Thanksgiving Tournament with their amazing speed, incredible passing, stunning defensive plays and “how did that not go in” goalkeeping.
The Strikers (a U10 Team) have proven to themselves and their critics that they are competitive at the U11 Girls Select level. Since the season has started they have narrowed the gap between their rivals Oscar Ceron’s team the CMFSA Vipers. They lost to them in an eye opening season opener - 5-1. This past weekend the Strikers “shocked” the Vipers coach by keeping the Vipers to only 1 goal in 2 games, allowing them to play in the Bronze Medal round of the tournament. Ceron’s comment were “An amazing improvement since the start of the season. You (Strikers) have a lot of talent on such a young team”.

All the Coquitlam Strikers U11 Girls 2009/ 2010 Hockey Pools have now been entered. Although we didn’t reach our goal of 100 pools, I think we did really well bringing in 82. The 82 pools will give the team $820 in fundraising dollars and at the same time payout the following winnings: 1st Place: $480; 2nd Place: $240; 3rd Place: $ 80Just as a reminder, please let all your poolies know that they can view their daily updates at: www.officepools.com; Pool ID: Coquitlam; Password: Strikers
