Fliers Fall to Carey
Carey, Ohio - The Flier Soccer club played very well at times, but the more experienced Carey team prevailed by a 4-1 score. Brian Shafer scored the only Clyde goal late in the second half with a sharp shot which hit high in the Carey net.
Zach Wott also had a hand, actually a head, in Carey's fourth goal. Unfortunately it was a shot into the Clyde goal as he headed a Carey shot over the right shoulder of Clyde goalkeeper, Alex Binger.
Binger stopped an unofficial 12 Carey shots in the contest.
The Fliers are next in action on Thursday, September 11 vs. the Fremont Emeralds. The game will be played at Conner Park in Ballville Township.

Fliers Top Emeralds U-13 Team
Fremont, Ohio - The Fliers moved to 3-2 on the season by topping the Fremont Emeralds U-13 team by a 7-2 on Thursday, September 11. The younger, but talented Emeralds played quite well, but had difficulty matching up with the bigger and more physical Fliers. The Fliers outshot Fremont by an unofficial 23-7 count.
Zach Wott led the Fliers with two goals on seven shots. Alex Binger scored two goals on two shots in the second half after playing in goal during a shutout first half. Brian Shafer and Cory Wettrich each had a goal and an assist on four and three shots respectively. David Gower tallied the final Clyde goal on one of two shots in the contest.
Caleb Cleveland had an outstanding defensive game and also fired off two shots on goal. Binger, Gower and Derek Dencer shared the goalkeeper duties recording a combined five saves.
The Fliers are back in action on Saturday, September 13 at 9:00 a.m. at Tiffin Calvert.
Thursday, September 18
Fliers Now 5-3 With Win at Fremont
Fremont, Ohio - Teamwork was the key word in the Fliers fifth win of the season. The Fliers scored seven times in a 7-3 win over the Fremont Emeralds U-13 team. In the first half Brian Shafer got Clyde off to a great start scoring his first of two goals. Zach Wott scored the final two goals of the half to give the Fliers the 3-0 lead at the break. Derek Dencer and Cory Wettrich each assisted on one of Wott's goals.
Fremont kept things interesting in the second half nearly matching the four Clyde goals with three of their own. After Shafer extended the Flier lead to 4-0 Fremont would pick up two goals closing the gap with 10 minutes left in the contest. Cory Wettrich extended the Clyde lead back to three goals when he scored on a nifty pass from Ethan Binger. After Fremont's third goal, Wott slammed the door shut with the game's final two goals. The first on a pass from Dencer and the second with an assist from Wettrich. Freshman Aaron Marshall also picked up an assist in his first game for the Fliers.
Midfielders Zack Ellenberger and Lucas Cooley also had strong performances in the game helping to set up several scoring chances.
Shot selection was much improved for Clyde who scored on six of 11 shots. Fremont managed nine shots on Flier goalkeepers Alex Binger and David Gower who combined for six saves.
A highlight in the game came at the intermission when the cheerleaders arrived to pump up the crowd. Thanks to Cody Balogh, Aric Rosenberger, Alex Rosenberger, Aaron Warner & Ricky Hammons for providing some school spirit!
The Flier's next game is Tuesday, September 23 vs. the Old Fort JV squad. Game time is 4:30 p.m.
Tuesday, September 16
Fliers Fall in Second Half to Woodmore
Elmore, Ohio - After the Fliers played perhaps their best half of soccer this season, the Wildcats of Woodmore High School pulled away in the second half for an 8-0 win.
After giving up a quick goal early in the first half, the Fliers settled in to play an outstanding half of soccer, out-shooting the older and more experienced Woodmore team 7-3 after that initial goal. The defensive play of a number of Fliers including Caleb Cleveland, Alaina Humbert, Brian Shafer and David Gower was able to move the ball upfield time after time where the offensive players were able to get off many shot attempts.
Going into the second half trailing just 1-0, the Flier's lack of experience, bench numbers and endurance turned the game in Woodmore's favor. Outshooting Clyde by a 13-3 count in the second half, the Wildcats were able to add seven goals. Alex Binger and Gower split goalkeeping duties, each allowing four goals. They also each recorded five saves.
Overall, the young Fliers should be very proud of the way they played against the much more experienced team.
The are back in action on Thursday, September 18 vs. the Emeralds U-13 team at Conner Park in Ballville Township. Game time is 6:00 p.m.
Saturday, September 13
Fliers Win Again - Improve to 4-2
Tiffin, Ohio - The Fliers improved to 4-2 on the season by defeating the Tiffin Catholic Schools Junior High team by a 1-0 score on September 13.
Clyde outshot the Tiffin team by a 15-3 count but had a difficult time solving the tough Tiffin defense. There were at least another 15 shots that were wide of the goal for the Fliers.
David Gower scored the winning goal for Clyde early in the second half. Zach Wott made six shots on goal with James Rathbun, Cory Wettrich and Brian Shafer also contributing numerous shots.
Alex Binger and Derek Dencer combined for the first Flier shutout stopping all three Tiffin shots. The final save by Dencer was a big one as a Tiffin player had a direct shot that would have tied the score late in the contest.
The Fliers are right back in action on Tuesday, September 16 at Woodmore. Game time is 5:00 p.m.

Woodmore Tops Fliers on Senior Night
Elmore, Ohio - The Woodmore Wildcats spoiled senior night for the Fliers by upending Clyde 6-2. After the game, lone senior Quinn Zerbe was honored with balloons and an autographed game ball after the game. A special thanks to Carolyn Geiman (Zack Ellenberger's mom) for arranging the special festivities.
It was a rough night for the Fliers, facing a much more experienced team. Woodmore came out on fire in a dominating first half which saw Clyde outshot 16-2. Alex Binger kept the game closer than it appeared by stopping 13 of the shots. Still the Wildcats lead 3-0 at the intermission.
In the early second half Woodmore extended the lead to 4-0 before the Fliers came alive. Zach Wott got Clyde on the scoreboard at the 10:15 mark of the second half with Aaron Marshall picking up an assist. Then just three minutes later Brian Shafer made the game interesting on a pretty play set up by Zach Wott and Cory Wettrich. At 4-2 the Fliers were back in business despite having only four shots on goal.
The Clyde goals forced Woodmore to return their starters to the game before the Fliers could do any more damage and they responded scoring the game's final two goals. Binger finished the game with a season high 18 saves. Several outstanding defensive performances were turned in by Aaron Marshall and Aaron Warner late in the game which blocked point-blank Woodmore scoring chances.
The game marked the end of the Flier's regular season with only a split squad 6 on 6 matchup with Findlay's Heritage Christian School left. That game will be next Tuesday, October 19 in Findlay. All players are encouraged to attend to cheer on their fellow teammates.
Thursday, October 7
Fliers Come from Behind to Top Lakers
Marblehead, Ohio - The Fliers played one their best games of the season in scoring three unanswered goals to top the Danbury HS Lakers 3-1 on Thursday afternoon. Danbury took the early 1-0 lead but Cory Wettrich knotted the score soon after to regain the momentum for Clyde. Aaron Warner picked up an assist on Wettrich's goal.
In the first half the Fliers outshot the Lakers 6-2 and applied a lot of pressure late in the half.
After the break Danbury was the more agressive team. Alex Binger was up to the challenge in goal stopping shot after shot to keep the Fliers in the game. At the 19:02 mark of the second half Brian Shafer would get the eventual game winning goal on a nice pass from Zach Wott.
Despite many more scoring chances by Danbury the Fliers held the lead and with less than two minutes left in the contest, Wott got an insurance goal after a wild flurry in front of the Laker goal. Wettrich picked up an assist on the final goal.
The Fliers killed off the remaining time to preserve the win. Binger made 10 saves in the half with the Lakers outshooting the Fliers 10-6 in the period.
The win was the first over the Lakers in three attempts dating back to last season. Danbury beat the Fliers 3-2 on September 15 and the progress made by the Fliers since then was evident.
With the win, the Fliers improve to 4-5-1 on the season with just two games to be played. The next game is October 14 at Woodmore. Game time is 5:00 p.m.
Monday, October 4
Fliers and Tigers Settle for Tie
 | | | Junior, Alaina Humbert Anchors the Defense | |
Republic, Ohio - The Clyde Fliers took the early lead, but a defensive breakdown in the second half cost them the victory against the Seneca East Junior High School Tigers.
Zach Wott took the opening possession directly to the goal to give Clyde the lead less than 20 seconds into the contest. Ethan Binger passed the ball to Wott for his team-leading fifth assist of the season. It appeared that the Fliers would cruise from that point on, but that was far from the truth. Clyde pummelled the Tiger goalie with 16 more shots on goal and would never hit the back of the net again in the contest.
Seneca East would muster very little offense in the game, finishing with just two shots on goal, but made the most of those with the eventual game-tying goal on their only shot of the second half.
The Fliers threw everything but the kitchen sink at the Tigers adding another 14 shots off the mark but the soccer gods were smiling on the young Seneca East team. A final shot by Flier, Brian Shafer hit the crossbar and fell straight down to the goalkeeper for the final exclamation point on a frustrating outing.
Coach Tackett reminded the dejected team, that teams will have days when no matter how many scoring attempts they get, nothing will go in the net.
Thomas Pasch, David Gower and Alaina Humbert had particulary strong defensive games thwarting the few scoring chances the Tigers had. Shafer and Lauren Cooley also had a least one key stop on defense. Notable offensive performances were made by Brandi Schuster and Lucas Cooley.
The Fliers are back in action with a rematch with the Danbury Lakers on Thursday night at Marblehead. Game time is 5:30 p.m.
Tuesday, August 31
Fliers Fall to .500 After Loss to Woodmore
Elmore, Ohio - The CHS Soccer team dropped a 5-1 decision to the Woodmore Wildcats on August 31. The Fliers could not muster much offense and faced 26 shots by the hosts.
Cory Wettrich scored the lone Flier goal in the second half on a fine setup by John Clevinger. Alex Binger allowed all five goals on the 20 shots he faced in the first half. David Gower stopped all six shots he faced in the second half.
Coach Tackett told the team to keep their heads up as they played a much better second half of soccer against an older and more experienced Wildcat team.
After a day off on Wednesday, the team will resume with practice on Thursday after school. There are no scheduled games next week, but the Fliers play four games the week of September 12.
Monday, August 30
Warner Goal Gives Fliers Season Opening Win
 | | | Aaron Warner Gets the Game Winner | |
Tiffin, Ohio - The Flier Soccer team started the season off with a fine 1-0 shutout of the Tiffin Columbian JV team on August 30, under the lights at Columbian Stadium. The game's lone goal came early in the second half when Allison Bessken set up fellow sophomore Aaron Warner for the hard shot from the right side of the goal.
Although the score was close, the Fliers outplayed the Tornadoes for much of the game. Clyde outshot Tiffin 13-4 in the contest. Alex Binger picked up the shutout in goal for the Fliers, but was not seriously tested.
Brian Shafer led the offensive attack with four shots on goal. Cory Wettrich, David Gower, Zach Wott and Brandi Schuster also had shots on goal. Paige Humbert, Lucas Cooley and Ethan Binger each had scoring chances as well.
The defense led by Alaina Humbert and Thomas Pasch was excellent in preserving the shutout.
Coach Tackett was pleased with the opener and the Flier's ability to control the ball in the Columbian end of the field.
The Fliers are back in action on Tuesday at Woodmore HS in Elmore. Game time is 5:00 p.m.
Thursday, September 23
Fliers Top Old Fort JH Team
 | | | | 8th Grader Megan Wasserman Saw Plenty of Action vs. Old Fort |
Old Fort, Ohio - The Clyde Fliers pulled out a tight 1-0 shutout of the Old Fort Junior High team on Thursday night. The Stockaders played a defensive game which limited Clyde to just 9 shots on goal and even fewer serious scoring threats.
With the defensive strategy, Old Fort was able to put just one shot on the Flier goal. Still they made it interesting by putting together a late rush in the final few minutes which could have tied the game.
Brian Shafer scored the game winning goal for Clyde on a setup by Aaron Warner about 24 minutes into the game.
Since the game was played against a junior high school age team, Coach Tackett used the opportunity to give the younger and less experienced players a lot of playing time. Old Fort has had a youth soccer program for many years and does not compete with football for it's athletes. One parent from Old Fort said that many of the members of their team have played together since Kindergarten.
Thursday, September 16
Rockets Squeak by Fliers
Oak Harbor, Ohio - For the second consecutive night, the Clyde Flier Soccer team scored first but lost a one goal game, this time by a 2-1 score to the Oak Harbor JV team. The Fliers took the early lead when John Clevinger scored his first goal of the season. Aaron Warner and Bryan Shafer assisted on the goal.
Oak Harbor tied the game late in the first half. The Rockets took the lead for good in a second half shortened by darkness.
Coach Tackett was once again pleased with his team's performance and progress. Last year's team lost to the Oak Harbor JV's by a 5-0 score so we are closing the gap on the more established programs.
The game marked the first this season against a Sandusky Bay Conference school. Saturday's game against Edison will be the second SBC school game. Game time is 2:00 p.m.
Wednesday, September 15
Lakers Come From Behind for Win Over Fliers
Lakeside, Ohio - The young Fliers held a 1-0 lead at the half, but the Danbury Lakers scored the last two goals of the game for a 3-2 come-from-behind win over Clyde.
The Fliers took advantage of the shorter field at Lakeside and scored on a pretty set-up that began with a Zach Wott throw-in to Brian Shafer who hit Aaron Warner with a pass in front of the Laker goal. Warner hit the back of the net with his shot giving the Fliers the 1 -0 lead. Some outstanding goaltending by Alex Binger kept Danbury off the scoreboard in the first half. Binger made 9 saves in the half including a 1 on 0 breakaway save and a nice point blank shot in the final minute of the period.
Each team scored on their first shot of the second period with Danbury knotting the score just three minutes into the half. The Fliers did not roll over, however, and just a little over three minutes later Cory Wettrich gave Clyde it's second lead of the game taking a Aaron Marshall throw in down the right side of the field taking a hard angle shot which beat the Laker goalie.
The Fliers looked as if they were headed for their second victory of the young season, but the late surge by Danbury gave the Lakers the win.
Shots on goal were nearly equal as well with the Lakers holding a slim 14-12 advantage. The Fliers had another 12 shots that missed the mark compared to just 8 misfires for Danbury.
The Fliers are back in action on Thursday night at Oak Harbor HS with a 6:30 game against the Rockets.
Monday, September 20
Fliers Drop 2-1 Decision to Columbian
Tiffin, Ohio - The Clyde Fliers dropped a tough 2-1 decision to the Tiffin Columbian Tornadoes under the lights of Columbian Stadium on Monday night.
Neither team had many scoring chances in a game with a lot of play in the middle of the field, but Tiffin scored late in the first half to take the halftime lead.
The Fliers would tie up the score early in the second half on a nice shot by Brian Shafer after a long pass up field by Cory Wettrich.
The Tornadoes would reclaim the lead with about 23 minutes left in the contest and the Fliers could not convert on it's final few scoring attempts.
It was a fine effort against a team with 5 seniors playing.
Flier goalie, Alex Binger stopped 6 of 8 Tiffin shots.
Clyde is back in action on Thursday night at Old Fort in a game that was originally scheduled for next Monday night. Game time is 4:30 p.m.
Saturday, September 18
Fliers Pull the Plug on Chargers 7-2
Milan, Ohio - The Clyde Fliers offense exploded for 7 goals against the Edison High JV team on Saturday afternoon. The Fliers were hot offensively for the entire afternoon leading 6-0 at the half on 13 shots. The Fliers defense was stellar as well holding the Chargers to just one first half shot on goalie, Alex Binger.
Cory Wettrich came out on fire, scoring the game's first two goals early in the first half. Zach Wott picked up an assist on Wettrich's first goal along with Zack Ellenberger who picked up his first assist on the season.
It was then Brian Shafer's turn to get on the board picking up the next two goals. Zach Wott got an assist on the first goal, with Ethan Binger getting a helper on the second.
Aaron Marshall then got on the scoreboard with the 5th and 6th goals of the game, his first two of the season. Ethan Binger passed the ball to Marshall on each of the goals with Nick Roope getting the second assist on Marshall's second goal. It was Roope's first assist of the season.
Coach Tackett used the opportunity to use his bench in the second half. Edison got on the boards early in the second half on a penalty shot. Alex Binger got a partial deflection on the shot, but it hit off the crossbar and deflected down into the net.
Aaron Warner got the final Flier goal, his fifth of the season, after following a Cory Wettrich shot to the goal. The Charger goalie made the initial save, but Warner was in excellent position to clean up the trash and stuff the ball home.
A late Edison goal was scored with about two minutes left on relief goaltender, Thomas Pasch.
With the win, Clyde improves to 2-4 with a Monday night game vs. Tiffin Columbian on tap. Game time is 7:00 p.m.
Monday, September 13
Seneca East Pulls Away for Win Over Fliers
Republic, Ohio - After a 3-3 halftime tie, the Seneca East Tigers pulled away in the second half for a 6-4 win over the Clyde Fliers.
The Fliers looked pretty good in the first half outshooting the hosts 13-3, but defensive breakdowns created odd-man rushes for the Tigers three easy goals. Clyde played most of the first half in the Seneca East defensive end and after falling behind 2-0, fought back to knot the score at 2-2. Aaron Warner got things going for Clyde on a nice setup by Brian Shafer. Shafer's assist would be his first of three points on the afternoon.
Shafer tied things up on a nice play set up by Zach Wott. Wott passed from the right sideline to Ethan Binger who threaded a nice pass to Shafer in front of the net for the goal. Wott and Binger each earned assists on the goal. After Seneca East again took a lead, Shafer tied the score once more late in the first half.
Momentum shifted back to Seneca East in the second half as the older and more athletic Tigers took control of the game after two early goals gave them a 5-3 lead. The game winning goal for the Tigers was on a penalty shot. Goalkeeper, Alex Binger got a piece of the shot, but the ball still managed to skip in the right side of the net.
Clyde managed to bring the score to within one when John Clevinger and Aaron Warner took the ball in front of the Tiger net and after a scrum, a Tiger defenseman eventually put the ball in his own goal. Warner got credit for the goal as the last Flier to touch the ball.
Seneca East got an insurance goal past David Gower who came in to goal in relief of Alex Binger.
The Fliers are back in action on Wednesday at Danbury. Game time is 5:30 p.m.
Sunday, October 23

Fliers Win Seventh Game
Tiffin, Ohio - The Flier's record now stands at 7-4 following a 4-2 win over the Tiffin Catholic Middle Schools team. As they did in the first matchup between the two teams, Clyde outshot Tiffin by a large margin (15-2), but this time the Fliers were able to find the back of the net four times.
Brian Shafer scored his first of three goals early in the first half. Zach Wott would make the score 2-0 later in the first on a pass from Ethan Binger. Clyde would outshoot Tiffin by a 7-1 mark in the first half with the only shot Tiffin saved by Aleshia Rosen as Flier goalkeeper Alex Binger was caught out of position.
Tiffin made the score 2-1 early into the second half on a penalty shot. Aaron Marshall, who played in goal for the second half, made an outstanding save attempt, but the ball deflected off his fingers and into the goal as he dove to his left.
Shafer's second goal extended the Flier lead back to two. Cory Wettrich picked up an assist on that goal. Shafer's third goal came on a penalty shot late in the second half. Midfielder Zack Ellenberger had one of his best games of the season showing off some keen footwork to keep the ball moving toward the Flier offensive zone.
The Fliers are back in action on Thursday in Findlay. They will take on Heritage Christian School at 4:45 p.m.
Thursday, October 2
Heritage Christian Shoots Down Fliers
Findlay, Ohio - It was Senior Day, the final home game for the Heritage Christian High School senior players and they went out winners by defeating the younger and less experienced Fliers by a 9-0 score. There were not a lot of Clyde highlights in the game as the Blue & Gold were outshot by a wide 15-4 margin.
Heritage's superiority in footspeed and ball control was evident from the beginning of the game. Many of their goals were the result of breakaways where their outstanding speed was exhibited. Three more were put in the net following a rebound after an intial save was made on their first shot attempt. This was most likely the finest team that the Fliers have faced this season.
There were lessons to be learned by playing the more experienced and mature team and Coach Tackett expressed his pleasure with the team's performance. He was pleased with the efforts of many of the players and specifically mentioned the outstanding effort of Derek Dencer and the fine shot attempt in the second half by Lucas Cooley. David Gower and Brian Shafer accounted for the other Flier shots on goal.
The final game of the 2003 season will be next Thursday, October 9 at Old Fort.

Clyde Soccer Invades Bowling Green
The Clyde Fliers traveled to Bowling Green on Sunday, September 28 to watch the Falcons take on the Wolverines of the University of Michigan. The Falcons lost 6-1, but other than getting wet and cold in the second half everyone had a great time. Five Fliers became part of the game as they were given the job of ballboys. Not only did they Caleb, Derek, Zack, Brian and Ethan get a close up view of the game, they also got free hot dogs and pops at the intermission. Good job guys!

Fliers Play Well in Loss to Lakers
Marblehead, Ohio - The Fliers dropped a tough 4-2 defeat to the Danbury High Lakers on Wednesday, September 24. For one of the few times this season, Clyde played better in the second half of the contest. After falling behind 2-0 in a first half which saw them outshot 13-2, the Fliers rebounded against the older and more experienced Lakers to bring the margin to within one on two different occasions in a second half which saw Clyde get six shots on goal compared to eight for Danbury.
A strong wind which benefited Danbury for the first half died down considerably in the second half denying the Fliers of their opportunity for a little assistance from Mother Nature.
Zach Wott got the Fliers on the board early in the second half to make the score 2-1 on a pass from Aaron Marshall. After the Lakers extended their lead back to two, Brian Shafer again cut the lead to one with a goal of his own. A late Danbury goal sealed the victory for the Lakers.
Alex Binger saw a lot of action in goal, stopping 17 of 21 Laker shots. That was a season high number of saves for a Flier goalkeeper. There was a lot of defensive assistance from a number of Fliers, notably Alaina Humbert and Elishia Rosen who broke up many Laker rushes.
The next game for the Soccer Fliers is Tuesday, September 30 vs. the Tiffin Catholic Junior High. Game time is 4:30 p.m. in Tiffin.

Three Fliers Earn First Career Goals in Win at Old Fort
 | | | Lucas Cooley, Ethan Binger & Aaron Marshall Score First Goals as Fliers |
Old Fort, Ohio - The Fliers improved to 6-3 on the season with a 7-0 shutout of the Old Fort Junior High team. Three players scored their first goals as Fliers. All three goals came in the second half with Aaron Marshall starting things off with a goal in just his second game. Lucas Cooley then scored on a pass from Zach Wott and Ethan Binger picked up his first on a pretty centering pass from Caleb Cleveland.
The Fliers started the game with a lot of fire power, scoring 4 first half goals on 7 shots. Derek Dencer scored the first on a pass from Zach Wott following a rebound of a shot from Brian Shafer. Shafer would then score two goals the second of which was assisted by Cory Wettrich. Zach Wott completed the first half scoring on a penalty shot after an Old Fort player knocked his initial shot down using his hand.
Clyde outshot the Stockaders by a 16-3 mark in the contest. Alex Binger, Shafer and Thomas Pasch shared goalkeeping duties with each recording one save. The shutout was the second of the season for the Fliers.
The Fliers are back in action on Wednesday, September 24 vs. Danbury High School. Game time is 5:00 p.m. The school is located on SR 163 near Marblehead.

Fliers Come From Behind to Win Finale
Old Fort, Ohio - The Fliers completed their first season of soccer competition with a 2-1 come-from-behind victory over the Old Fort Junior High team. Cory Wettrich got the game winner with just three seconds left in regulation. With the win, the Fliers capped a successful season with a fine 8-5 record.
Old Fort, who lost for only the second time this season, played a much stronger game than when the two teams met on September 23.

David Gower made the only Flier save stopping the lone Old Fort shot in the second half. Alex Binger started in goal and allowed the lone Old Fort goal on a hard angle shot which sailed over his head to the opposite corner of the goal.
Coach Tackett was pleased with his team's performance but stated that next season's efforts will concentrate on improving the percentage of shots on goal.
The Flier defense had an excellent game led by the fine performance of midfielder Thomas Pasch whose second period bicycle kick brought a big crowd reaction.
Offensively, Clyde was led by Brian Shafer with the team's first goal and a total of ten shot attempts. Cory Wettrich picked up an assist on Shafer's goal. He also had two other shots in addition to his game winner. Milan, Ohio - The Fliers avenged a September 1, 6-0 loss to the Edison Chargers by earning a tough 0-0 tie in a game which was marked with several long delays.
The game started early at 4:30, but ended more than two hours later. Late in the first half, Aaron Warner collided with the Charger goalie resulting in a knee injury to Aaron and an injury to the face of the keeper that eventually would require an ambulance to be summoned. The score at the half was 0-0 and shots even at 2-2.
After playing part of the second period, the game was again delayed after a call from the hospital which required a search of the field for a missing tooth from the injured Charger. Unfortunately the search was unsuccessful. Hopefully he will recover quickly from the injuries.
The final 20 minutes of the game were very intense and well played by the Fliers. During that time Clyde had numerous scoring chances.
