Help Needed for Feed the Team and Concessions
Please contact Mary Collins to schedule a night for Feed the Team. You can share a date with another parent or do it all yourself.
Pam Aldrich has volunteered to schedule concession stand workers. If you can help out in that area, please talk to Pam. The menu for soccer will be somewhat smaller than for football games so it's not too difficult.
Thanks to both ladies for volunteering to organize these activities!

Fliers Drop Close Game with Tornadoes
Clyde, Ohio - The Clyde Fliers made their 2009 debut in a scrimmage with the Tiffin Columbian Tornadoes and came up just short in a 3-2 defeat. He cited the transition between the defenders and midfield as one area to work on. He also felt that the team needs to work on redirects. The defenders, who are some of the most inexperienced players on the squad, need to work in synch.
Dustin Leasock scored the first Flier goal on a nice setup from Andrew Collins and Sahen Fultz. Fultz scored the second goal with just 35 seconds left in the game with Trenton Hermes and Taylor Aldrich adding assists.
