Clyde Little Leaguers attend Mud Hens Game!
On Sunday June 11 several members of CLL attended a Toledo Mud Hens game! Several players attended and the 1st pitch was thrown out by a 'soon to be Clyde Little Leaguer' who currently plays knothole for Clyde Rec. Dept.
Teams were escorted by coaches Schmitz, Lynch and Gregory. Teams represented were: VFW,FSI,Moose,Lynch,Sleek Build.,Boxers, Credit Union & Whirlpool. Players were from Major & Jr divisions! Many younger Clyde Rec. Dept.players were on hand as well.
Before the game the players rec'd many autographs, during the game they ate to their heart contents (boy can they eat!!) and after they ran the bases and watched fire works! It was a fun evening for all! We can't wait to do it again next year!
