Bucks claim the pennant

By virtue of New Market's 8-6 win over Stuarts Draft Wednesday, Clover Hill claimed the RCBL pennant and the top seed in the league playoffs.

The Bucks (24-4) will host Shenandoah (3-25) in the best-of-three first round, which begins Friday night at Buck Bowman Park. Game two will be played Saturday at Page County High School, with game three, if necessary, played Sunday at Buck Bowman.

The other first round series include:

Bridgewater (8-20) vs. Stuarts Draft (23-5), Broadway (11-17) vs. Montezuma (15-13), and Elkton (13-15) vs. New Market (15-13).

This is the Bucks' 12th RCBL pennant, and the team's fourth in-a-row.
