PRE-'F' COACHING LICENSE COURSE: 3 hr course offered Thursday, July 7th (evening) &again on Thursday evening, July 27th, 6:30-9:30pm, both in Healdsburg. Location: Good Sheppard Church. Take Dry Creek Exit to March Ln, turn left on University at the Hospital. Go up the hill to the church. (Recommended for all U6 &U8 coaches/assistant coaches). Teaches coaching strategies for young players, drills, etc.

'F' COACHING LICENSE COURSE: 9 hr course offered Friday, July 21-22nd in Healdsburg. Also offered June 23-24th in Windsor but fee required. Contact me if you want to attend but can only attend the Windsor course. (Recommended for U10+ coaches or U6/U8 coaches who may want to coach at higher levels in the future).

'E' COACHING LICENSE COURSE: 18 hr course offered Fri-Sun July 7-9th in Cloverdale. . (Recommended for U10+ coaches or U6/U8 coaches who may want to coach at higher levels in the future). 'F' license is a prerequisite to attending.

GOALKEEPER COURSE: 9 hr course offered Saturday, August 12th in Healdsburg. . (Recommended for U10+ coaches or U6/U8 coaches who may want to coach at higher levels in the future).

REFEREE TRAINING COURSE: Not scheduled yet, should be shortly after school starts. Contact Ref Coordinator, Larry Reynolds, 894-4065, for more info. You can attend just to obtain detailed info re rules, etc, (not necessarily to ref) but course is extensive.

CYSL does not make any coaching courses mandatory at the U6/U8 coaching level. However, we would really like to have as many coaches/assistant coaches as possible attend one of these courses, especially the Pre-F course. We are very fortunate this year because CYSL coordinated with Healdsburg YSL so that any course that a CYSL coach attends in Healdsburg is FREE and CYSL is doing the same for the HYSL coaches attending the 'E' course here. There is no charge for the course in Cloverdale either. This deal with Healdsburg is not likely to occur again for a while as it costs our league $650 to host a coaching course here. Please take advantage of this awesome opportunity to attend a free coaching course that is close-to-home. Note: an added bonus of attending the coaching course is that it may give you priority status in future coaching if there is an over-abundance of coach volunteers and the Board is forced to choose coaches.

Please contact me at least 1 week prior to any coaching course that you want to attend so that I can forward a list of attendees to the appropriate person ahead of time. I will have more info re these courses (place, time) later. If you decide that you want to go a Healdsburg course at the last minute, contact Matt Sweeney at 433-1532.
