Welcome to the home of the 2008 USATF-NJ Men's 60's Team 1st Place and Men's 50's Team 3rd Place Award Winners! 

The Clifton Roadrunners Club was established in 1978 and boy are we still going strong!  Our runners are comprised from Clifton, Kearny, Lyndhurst, Nutley, Belleville, Montclair, Bloomfield, Passaic, Paterson, Wayne, Ocean Grove, Toms River, Lincoln Park, Prospect Park, Elmwood Park, Harrison, Rutherford, Wallington and many of the surrounding towns.

We participate in all areas of running from track to Ultra marathons.  Browse through our race results and you'll find our members race times range from 17:00 to 45 minutes for the 5k, marathon times from 2:52 to 6:30.  We welcome all levels of runners competitive and recreational.     

Each week we offer weekday group runs at Brookdale Park in Bloomfield, Saturday morning group runs at Rochelle Park and the Sunday group run varies between Garret Mountain, Brookdale Park and the Englewood Boat Basin.

On Wednesdays at Overlook Park in Leonia, Coach Freddy Evangelista, trains our members to run more efficiently through strength and flexibility exercises and speed workouts.  The sessions are free to all CRRC members.  For more information and directions - look under Practices and Locations.

Many of our members are also members of the State governing body - USATFNJ and compete in the USATFNJ Grand Prix, Mini 1 and Mini 2 Series as an individual and in the team events. 

Each weekend members attend many races and there is usually someone to car pool with especially to distant races.  We would love to have you join our club, our teams and be a part of a unique and strong spirited running club. 

While we may be a running club, friendships are formed and we do more than just run.  We have bowling nights, nights at the races (horses), trips to the Bronx Zoo, hiking, canoeing,picnics, Holiday & Award Ceremony, pasta party, races in NYC and Pennsylvania, weekend road trips to races, Saturday night get togethers and much more.  Family members are  welcome and encouraged to participate in all club events.

We offer a free 3 month trial period in which you can join us in all club events, group runs, track workouts, and after 3 months we hope you will officially become a member of the Clifton Roadrunners Club.

Membership is $20.00 for Individual and $25.00 for family at same address.  High School and College students are free to age 21.
