Huneau 1 hits Black Sox, as Canes pick up 8-0 win

Steve Huneau's 1st start in nearly 2 years was a succesful one.  Coming off a shoulder injury the Canes gave the ball to Huneau against the shorthanded Black Sox.

The Canes would start off the game in the top of the 1st and score quickly with back to back doubles by Roberts and Rader to plate a run.  In the 2nd, a Tom O'Brien single followed by a Kyle Babie double would plate the Canes 2nd run.  The Canes would add a 3rd run in the 3rd inning when Nick Panza singled and stole 2nd.  He would score on a Rader single to make it 3-0 Canes.  Huneau would cruise through the 1st 2, but run into the only trouble he had all day in the bottom of the 3rd.  A leadoff walk and a single by Hoagboon followed by a walk to Lochner to load the bases.  Huneau would get a groundout and popup to end the threat.

The Canes would blow the game open in the 4th.  Jensen would lead off with a HBP, followed by an O'Brien walk and another HBP to Babie.  With the bases juiced, RJ Laurin delivered a 2 RBI single.  Panza would walk to load the bases and Roberts would drive in a run on a base on balls, followed by a 2 RBI single by Rader.

The final would be 8-0 in favor of the Canes.
