Cudas 4-0 Shook Almost Throws a No-No

The Cudas would send Jim Shook to the mound to battle against the Mets Nyman. The Cudas would strike in the top of the first. Maldando would rip a single to start the game off, Joyce would follow with a walk. They would double steal leaving runners on 2nd and 3rd with Jimmy Rogers up. Rogers would hit a double scoring 2. Nyman would settle down keeping the game 2-0. In the botom of the inning the Mets would strike back. Shook would walk to 1st batter of the game, he would K the next batter but then Rose would double down the line putting runners on 2nd and 3rd. Young would double to left center placing 2. Shook would K the next two batters keeping the game 2-2. In the 3rd the Cudas would strike again. Maldando would draw a 1 out walk and would swipe 2nd. Joyce would move him over to 3rd on a ground out. Rogers would stay hot and rip a single making it 3-2. Rogers would move to third on a single by Gawinski. Rogers would then score on a wild pitch making it 4-2. The game stayed that way as Shook didn't allow another hit after the 1st inning and finished the game with 13 K's.
