 Please let all of your players and fans know:

If you play a game at UALBANY, please read the following:  Rakes, tamps, etc., will be stored in the shed. After we are finished with the game, we are expected to rake and repair the pitcher's mound and batter's boxes. Also, if there are tarps at the field, they need to be placed over the pitcher's mound and home plate area. Please pick up all trash in the dugouts after your game.

PARKING - You can NOT park your car next to the field. Your car will be ticketed and/or towed. You must park in the SEFCU arena parking lot or the administrative parking lot beyond center field (drive past center field, take first right)

The UALBANY field does not drain well. After a significant rain, there is usually a large puddle of water between second and third. If nothing is done to remove this water, it takes DAYS for the infield to dry. If you have a game scheduled and it's been raining, I would check the field the day before you are scheduled to play. If there's standing water on the field, it can be removed by scooping the water into buckets and dumping the buckets of water outside the field and/or taking a broom and brushing the water to another part of the infield. DO NOT brush/shovel water into any grass area. (I would also call some friends to speed up the process) If you walk around the infield and can leave noticeable footprints in the dirt/mud, DO NOT use the field. If you have the first game scheduled on the field be sure to be there well before an hour to check the field and see if it needs work so you can have the work done prior to your game starting or you can cancel the game with ample notice for the umpires so we do not have to pay any fees. Also if you are the first game that day and the field is unplayable please contact Mark LeMorta so I can get a hold of the other managers who are scheduled to play the other games on the field.
