The CDMABL Hot Stove has been quiet lately, but this is the time of year where things begin to pick up. A look around the league at some big names changing teams and what moves have so far been made.
We will start with the X-Tribe. The Tribe has announced that Coach Isopo will return to the Tribe for the upcoming '09 season.
Next we move onto the South Troy Cudas. The Cudas have made 2 huge additions to their offense. The Cudas have hadded 2 former Road Dogs in CF Darren Lewis and OF/1B Rocky Fittizzi. Lewis and Fittizzi will add some more pop to the Cudas lineup and provide the team with some veteran leadership.
The Capital City Canes seem to be the busiest amongst the teams. They've made 4 huge additions to their team this off-season. Pitchers Chris Yager and Matt Radewitz join the rotation of the Canes in 09. Yager is coming over from the Road Dogs, while Radewitz last pitched with the Knights in 07. Both are former NABA CY Young award winners and will help deepen the Canes growing pitching staff. The Canes have also brought in fomer Road Dog and Knights C Brendan Roberts. Roberts was brought in to help solidify the Catchers position on the Canes and add a little juice to the top of the Canes lineup. Last but not least, the Canes made the recent announcement that former St. Rose standout Nick Panza will join the Canes and look to help solidify the middle of the Canes infield.
