Clifton Forge Little League is an all-volunteer recreational baseball program for youth (ages 4-18) of eastern Alleghany County, the Town of Clifton Forge, and Northern Botetourt County.  Little League was founded in 1939 in Williamsport, PA. Little League is the largest organized youth sports program in the world, annually touching the lives of over 2,600,000 children. Clifton Forge Little League's mission is to implant firmly in the children of the community the ideals of good sportsmanship, honesty, loyalty, courage and respect for authority, so that they may be well-adjusted, stronger and happier children and will grow to be good, decent, healthy, and trustworthy citizens. Established fifty-nine years ago (in 1952), Clifton Forge Little League (CFLL) has been instrumental in helping teach the lessons of good sportsmanship and citizenship to thousands of our area's young people. The League is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization built on the dedication and hard work of numerous volunteers as well as the generous contributions of individuals and businesses throughout the community.
