Hawks call it quits
The Clifton Hawks Baseball Club has decided to pack it in after 13 seasons of competitive baseball. Starting as a high school feeder program the team went on to capture a number of league and tournament championships prior to settling in as one of the semi pro league NJABL's top tier teams. A number of the club's players won all-county accolades in high school and went on to compete at the NCAA level. The team's most successful season came in 2000-01 when they captured a silver medal as runners up in the NJ State AAU Tournament, were Triple Crown Tournament Champions in a regional tournament held in Long Island and captured the Redhawk Fall League crown at Yogi Berra Stadium. The team was a league playoff qualifier 5 out of 7 years in the NJABL winning the Western Division crown in 2008 and finishing with a .643 winning percentage.

Hawks renew contract with Mad Dog
The Hawks have renewed their sponsorship agreement with Mad Dog Bats . Special discount pricing will be made available to players and coaches. Orders will now have to be placed through the team.
