NEWS & NOTES:  

In a very well played and exciting baseball game, the Lakers came out on the short-end of a 2-1 score to Lakewood National Division rival St. Joseph. Both starting pitchers went the distance with Chad Schwegel picking up the win for St. Joseph and Sam Iten taking the lose for Clear Lake.
