MINOR LEAGUE SOFTBALL

MAJOR LEAGUE BASEBALL
All boys age 9 to 12 must be drafted by a Major League Team and attend one practice for each team. Any player not retained by the Major League Team shall be returned to the Minor League for drafting. All 12 year olds must compete in the Major League Program unless they are physically unable to compete safely in the division. The final determination of a 12 year old player’s eligibility will be made by the Board of Directors after a recommendation by the Major League manager. All players who played on a Major League Team in 2004 do not have to tryout and will remain on the same team for 2005.



JUNIOR LEAGUE BASEBALL
This division is for boys League age 13 and14. All games will be played against other Little League Programs throughout District 15.



JUNIOR LEAGUE SOFTBALL
This division is for girls League age 13 and14. All games will be played against other Little League Programs throughout District 15.



TEE BALL
This division is for the boys and girls league age 5, 6 and 7. The teams are selected by the player agent so that an equal number of 6 and 7 year old boys and girls are on a team. The tee-ball program is to help introduce your child to the game of baseball. The purpose is to teach the fundamentals of the game. There are no team standings or team records. Each team will play two games per week with a total of 12 games during the season.

INSTRUCTIONAL LEAGUE SOFTBALL
This division has been modified in 2005, to prepare girls for the Major League. It is open to players league age 7, 8 and 9 years old. The final determination of a players eligibility and assignment will be made by the Executive Board. This division utilizes coaches pitching and it’s purpose is to develop the skills of each player. Each Team will play two games per week with a total of 12 to 15 games.



MINOR LEAGUE BASEBALL
This division is for boy’s league age 8 to 11. All 9 to 11 year old candidates for Minor Division must attend tryouts, so that they can be placed in the Minor League Draft. All players in the Minor League Program will be re-drafted each year. Your son may not be selected on the same team that he played last year. All players’ ages 9 to 12 must be drafted and tryout for a Major League Team. If they are cut by the Major League team, they are then drafted by a Minor League Team and will compete in the Minor Division unless recalled by a Major League Team.
