Clay Platte Baseball will offer the following divisions for fall ball.  We are currently accepting full team registrations, however, we will keep names and contact information for any individual that would like to sign up, however, we cannot guarantee they will be placed on a team.

     2008 Fall Season

* These age groups may be combined if not enough teams in each age 

League Starts:  Week of September 9, 2008 

Game Dates:     Two games per week (possibly one weeknight and one weekend game or two weeknight games – will work with coaches)

Practice Fields: Two practice fields given per week prior to opening weekend. One practice field after opening day(depending on availability).  

Game Fields:        All games played at Platte Purchase Park   

League Starts:  Week of August 25, 2008

Game Fields:     Games played at Pleasant Valley Park.  All fields have lights and grass infields.   May play at Platte Purchase Park if necessary. 

Post Season Tournament:  Optional  Registration Ends:  August 12, 2008  

General Information: 

a)      Age Cutoff:  All age divisions are based on the player’s age on April 30th, 2008.

b)      Team Sizes:  You may carry however many players you wish on a roster.  However, the League reserves the right to place players on your roster if you do not have 12 players and the League has players that need to be placed on a team.

c)      Practice Fields/Times:  Must set up practice field through CPBB.  Will receive a permit for practice day, time and location.  Must have permit available during practice.  Teams are given two practice fields a week before the start of the season.  Once the season starts, teams will be given one practice field a week depending on availability.  

d)   Multiple child discount: Receive a $10.00 discount for second and/or third child playing in our league.  Fourth and subsequent child plays for free. The oldest child does not receive a discount, they only set up a discount for any younger siblings registered and playing in the League. 

e)         Birth Certificate Requirement:  Only copies of state, county or city birth certificates will be accepted if not on file with the League. State issued ID’s and passports are also accepted.  No hospital birth certificates will be accepted!!

g)       Coaches Meeting:  Sunday August 10, 2008 from 7:00pm to 8:30pm @ St. James Catholic School, 309 S. Stewart Road, Liberty, MO  64068.  Directions can be found on our website.     

h)         Team Registration includes the following: 

            a.       Official team roster completely filled out.      

                        b.         Copy of player’s birth certificate if they have not already played through CPBB

             c.       Registration fee.  Checks payable to Clay Platte Baseball League
