CLAYMONT BUCCANEERS: Welcome

|
|
Welcome to the internet home of the IFL Champions "CLAYMONT BUCCANEERS". The Buccs are proud members of the Independent Football League. The mission of the Independent Football league is to create a community football league in the Tri-State area, east coast, and eventually nationwide that will help empower it's players and the surrounding communities. Major league sponsorship is provided by Adams, Comcast, ESPN, SECTV and Football America. The league is always looking to get those chosen few to the next level. By the IFL, being an associate of a local Arena team, each player has a chance at moving up to the Arena level every year. The season runs from September to December, with the championship game being held at a neutral site. The league is Owned Equally by team owners that have taken the time to put together an over all great format, that every one can be proud of. So come out and support the IFL cause we are the peoples choice.

| Southern Conferance IFL Champions 11-1 |
The Buccs won the IFL Championship Saturday against the York Tigers 30-20. This is the second championship in a row for the Buccs and it was just as sweet as the first. With the Tigers putting up a good fight til the very end. It was a game to remember, but in the end the Buccs showed up big with some big game plays from "MVP" Tavaris Walters. His performance was outstanding and unforgettable. The balance attack of the Buccs running and passing was the difference in the game. The running game was anchored by fullback Eric Dorcey and running sensation Emmanual Marc who had over 100 yrds. on the ground. But the true rewards go to the Offensive Line for their outstanding blocking all game. With out the protection up front the teams General and QB "Pork" Jamel Lowrie could not have pulled off one of the greatest performancese of his career. So kudos to everyone on the Buccs because in the end it took all of us as a family to win it all. Love you guys, until next year enjoy your championship you've earned it.

Week 9. Buccs bounce back with a 54-0 win over the Rip Tides
Week 10. "2-0 Buccs" Our hearts and prayers go out to the whole Thunder organization. We know first hand how it feels to loose a team member that was a big part of your family, stay stronge and keep your heads up guys.
Week 12. In the Buccs first play-off game of the season things seem to be more like a battle royal than a football game. But through it all the Buccs came out victorious over the Rams 32-6. "Remember thugs don't win football games, football players win football games."
Week 13. Conferance Championship Game
Buccs answer the challenge of the Blaze with a 44-16 win over them. To my guys you all played a hell of a game way to stay humble and hungy. We received the message from them loud and clear for some teams only way to get there respect is to take it..... point taken.
