The following players will represent Clay County in the 9-10 District 8 Tournament beginning Friday June 21 at Summersville Veteran's Memorial Park at 7:00. Click for Brackets Good luck boys!

This year we will end our season with one tournament game to decide League Champions.
To find the two teams to compete in each division, the season will be split in half.
The team in first place in standings for games played from April 13 - May 7 will play the team in first place for games played May 8 - June 1.
It should be a fun night at Dundon with the Minor League game starting at 6:00 on Thomas Field and the Major game starting at 7:00 on Duffield Field.
Thursday, December 13
Beginning January 1, you will be able to sign your player(s) up on-line here. The fee is $15 per player with no additional charge for using the on-line option.
We will only have ONE in-person sign-up date this year, so please take advantage of the on-line option. The last day to sign-up is March 16, so get your ball player(s) signed up early.
In-person sign-up will be held on February 16 from 9am-3pm at the High School.
Tuesday, December 11
The Board has met twice since being elected in September. Keep up on what issues have been discussed and voted on by reading the minutes from the meetings held on October 21 and December 9.
Our 2013 season will be here sooner than we think, and your Little League Board knows that all the work we do in the off-season will make the season that much better of an experience for all our players.
If you are interesting in making the 2013 season a success, please attend a board meeting and share your ideas. The next meeting will be held on January 13th.

At the Annual Membership meeting yesterday, a new Board of CCLL was elected for the 2012-2013 year beginning October 1st.

Last night the girls lost a tight game which ended with a score of 13-12 in the bottom of the 6th. They are District Runners-up and now on they go to States! Great job and good luck ladies!!
Monday, June 25
Since there are two Little League All-Star Softball teams this year in District 8, there will be a game to determine who will be seeded first and second going into the State Tournament.
The girls have continued to practice with their Manager Rich Sontos and Coaches Joe Coleman and Ron Rogers to be ready for Craigsville and then onto States!
Come out to Craigsville on Thursday June 28th at 6:00 pm and show our All-Stars your support.

The West Virginia District 8 Southern Baseball Tournament will be played in Braxton County this year at Holly Gray Park. The pool play schedule is as follows:
Braxton v. Clay Saturday June 30th at 6:00 pm
Summersville v. Braxton Sunday July 1st at 6:00 pm
Summersville v. Clay Monday July 2nd at 6:00 pm
The record will determine which two teams advance to Districts.
The players have come together after an exciting season and are working with their Manager Danny Woods and Coaches Billy Grose and Chris Vaughan to bring their best team effort to represent Clay County Little League Baseball at its best! Come out and support your Little League Baseball All-Stars.

Friday, June 22
Today is the first day of the West Virginia District 8 Tournament for 9-10 All-Stars. This year there will be no Sectionals due to a lack of teams in the North. So it's straight to Districts for the boys. They have been practicing hard for the past three weeks with their Manager Shawn Krajeski and Coaches John Osborne and Tracey Jones, and when they left the field last night, they were ready to play some ball!
The Tournament will take place in Huttonsville, up past Elkins. It's a long drive but if you are up in the mountains this weekend, take a side-trip and cheer these players on!

Development games will start Sunday May 6th. These games are open to ALL players ages 8-9-10 & 11-12.
11-12 year olds will play May 13th and May 27th
- Please be at Dundon by 1:30 to participate.
- Please have your player(s) wear their game uniform(s).
- Teams will be selected prior to each game.
- Games will be played according to Little League (Major) Rules.
Wednesday, April 25
The Board has decided to make some changes to the game schedule. The Little League (Major) development games that were scheduled every Saturday at 1:00 PM have been cancelled. All other Little League games remain the same.
Since we have no Little League games at 1:00 PM on Saturdays, the second Minor League game from each Saturday will be moved from 3:00 PM on Thomas Field to 1:00 PM on Duffield Field.

On the last day of the WESTEST, May 17th, all ball players show your pride in being a student-athlete and wear your Little League jersey to school!
