In the next few days our Treasurer will be contacting the winners and arranging for the payment of the winnings.  The raffle takes a lot of hard work and we want to thank Caroline Miller for her efforts, along with our team Directors, and the generosity of our Chiefs' families and those that purchased tickets; which made our raffle a success.



Thursday, August 13
August 15th Scrimmage At Clarkston
The Clarkston Chiefs welcome both the Multi-Lake Gators (Western Lakes Junior Football League) and the Waterford Corsairs (NYFL) to our scrimmage on August 15, 2009 at Clarkston High School.  Team warm-ups will be 1pm to 2pm and the scrimmage begins at 2pm.  Your teams head coach/director has the scrimmage schedule.  We will also be supporting "Football for a Cure" to benefit cancer research.  We will have volunteers carrying a Clarkston Chiefs helmet collecting donations for cancer research.  Pink and blue t-shirts and wrist bands will be also be available for purchase.  All proceeds go to cancer research.

Clarkston Wolves Football Camp
Clarkston Chiefs football players are invited to attend the Clarkston Wolves football camp on July 20-23.  The camp is held at the Clarkston High School football field.  The cost is $150.  For more information visit the Clarkston Community Education Center website at www.clarkston.k12.mi.us/cec

JV White Super Bowl Trophy Visits U of M!!!
2008 JV White player David Taylor showed of their Super Bowl trophy while attending football camp at the University of Michigan.  David even had a picture taken with head coach Rodriquez.  Many of the coaches talked to David about the Super Bowl trophy.  Way to go David and thanks for promoting the Clarkston Chiefs!

Pontiac Panthers & NYFL Lost a Great Friend
It's with a saddened heart that we learned the Pontiac Panthers president Kenny McClendon passed away last week.  The Pontiac Panthers have lost a great supporter of youth sports and the NYFL has lost a friend and colleague.  Visitation is Sunday May 31, 2009 from 12pm to 8pm at Lawrence Moon Funeral Home.  Funeral Services will be held on Monday, June 1, 2009 at 1pm at Faith Church.

2009 Summer Skill Camps Announced
The Clarkston Chiefs 2009 summer skill camps will be held June 7th, June 27th, and July 25th from 9am to 12pm.  The camps are held on the Clarkston High School practice fields (behind the stadium).  It's very important to attend the first camp as our draft will occur after the first camp to determine team assignments and there will be a new parent informational session.

Chiefs' Alumni Selects Miami University

2nd Varsity Team for 2009 Season

The Chiefs are excited to have a second varsity team to offer more opportunities for our youth to participate.  We will add a second varsity team if we have at least 46 varsity players registered (23 per team).  If you have any questions regarding the addition of our second Varsity team please contact us at info@clarkstonchiefs.org.
