McClatchy Track & Field Records 2000-Present

All New:  McClatchy Results:    TRACK & FIELD          CROSS COUNTRY

Please note that Coach Carboni is inputing results as quickly as he can.  For Track and Field, the all time list will hopefully be completed back to 2000 by the end on August 2009.  This is a very slow process because I am translating notes and converting results.

Coach Carboni was hired in 1999 and has verifiable times and distances from that year forward. As a result it was agreed that "Current Records" would begin with new centry in 2000. Previous records WILL NOT be erased or forgotten... It will simply take more time and research. Eventually, an "ALL TIME BEST LIST" will be created.

With the help of Jim Knox are currently updating and verifing records dating back to 1937. This is a difficult process for several reasons. The record list Coach Carboni inherited was last updated by Dub Carter in the early 1990's. Some of the distances are in meters while others are in yards. Prior to Carter's (1970's-90's)tenure as head coach the position was held by Scotty Bingham (1950's and 60's) and the original head Track & Field coach at CKM was Jack Meager.
