The City of Red Oak presents the 2nd Annual Red Oak White and Blue 5k & 1M Fun Run.  The run will take place the morning of Saturday June 29th, 2013 at Pearson Park the back drop to start and finish the race.

 

Immediately after the race Camp Gladiator presents the first Red Oak White and Blue Fitness Challenge.  Participants will test their athletic conditioning in events such as Tire Flip, Sled Pull and Sand Bell Toss 

Spend the rest of the day celebrating at Red Oak White and Blue Festival featuring local Red Oak and surrounding area vendors and is highlighted by one of the areas biggest and best fireworks  displays presented by Citizens National Bank of Texas. 

 

 All proceeds will stay within the Red Oak Parks & Recreation Department for future programs and parks improvements.

 

  Awards and Prizes
   Awards presented to first overall male and female finishers and first finishers in each age group male and female 
  Age groups: 1-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+

Chip timing is required to be eligible for awards. No duplicate awards given.

                                      7:35 AM: 1 Mile Fun Run Starts

Awards presented to first finishers in each age group male and female 
  Age groups: 1-12, 13-17, 18-39 (Adult Division), 40 and over (Master View)

The top male and female of the adult and master divisions will receive an opportunity to compete in the DFW CG Games Preliminary Round to try and qualify for the CG Games Finals
