It is the vision of the Cinnaminson Girls Softball League to provide the Girls of Cinnaminson the opportunity to participate in organized in-town and travel softball. Cinnaminson Girls Softball emphasizes instruction on basic softball skill, sportsmanship, structured team play, character building, leadership and a sense of fair play! Cinnaminson Girls Softball offers Cinnaminson girls ages 4-18 the opportunity to play on an in-town or travel team.
Travel Team Try-Outs for our 2010 Spring Travel Softball season will be held at Wood Park on the following days and times:
The U12's travel team try-out date has been rescheduled to Sunday, October 25th, at 10:30am. Players are asked to arrive around 10am to warm up and sign in.
The U-10's travel team try-out date will be Sunday, October 25th, at 10:30am. Players are asked to arrive around 10am to warm up and sign in.
The U8's travel team try-out date will be Sunday, October 25th at 12:30pm. Players are asked to arrive around 12:15pm to warm up and sign in.
U12's if your daughter is 12 or younger on January 1, 2010.
U10's if your daughter is 10 or younger on January 1, 2010
U8's if your daughter is 8 or younger on January 1, 2010
Try-outs normally last from 1.5 hours to 2 hours. Players will be evaluated on: hitting from a pitching machine or soft toss, infield skills, outfield skills, and base running. Pitcher and Catchers will also be evaluated at the end of try-outs.
Players are strongly encouraged to participate in try-outs with their appropriate age group. If a player wants to try out/up for an older age group, this is permissible but please let Travel Director Don Brauckmann db3140@comcast.net know prior to their assigned try-out date.
