2010 Cincy Volleyball Club Information

 

Practices are held at Price Hill Community Center at least twice a week starting in January with first tournament in early February.

 

All teams will participate in OVR/USAV/JVDA events at a National level.

 

Teams will compete in 7-10 tournaments. Below is a list of some tournaments that we normally go to, but are subject to the availability of our players. (More local tournaments appear as more clubs begin to register their teams.

                - Presidents Cup (Dayton area / Columbus) – Presidents Day weekend

                - Central Zone Challenge (Louisville) - Early February

- South Metro Sports (Centerville) – February 20

                -  Blue Grass pre-Qualifier (Louisville) - Early March

                -  Mid East Qualifier (Indianapolis) - March 26-28

-  OVR National Challenge at Sports Express (Mason) - April 10-11,

-  OVR –Bid tournament (Columbus) - April 17-18, 

-  NKJV Aces Challenge (Northern KY) – Late April, early May

                -  OVR Championships (Columbus) - mid May

                -  KIVA Memorial Day Classic (Louisville) – May 29-31

-  We also have hosted our own tournament at MSJ (West Cincinnati) for the past 4 years.

- Asics Junior National Championships (Chicago) – Early June (substitute for USAV Nationals)

- USAV JO Nationals – (Early July – Must Qualify) Site TBD

**Individual team tournament schedules will be finalized at the parent player meeting in November**

 

Fees for the 2010 season are $1,400 broken up into three payments.

                - 1st payment = $500 is due upon accepting team position by November 25, 2009.

                -2nd payment = $500 is due no later than January 22, 2010.

                - 3rd payment = $400 is due no later than March 19, 2010.

 

2010 fee breakdown per player of a 10 player team.

Coaches’ Registration /                                                                                                 - uniforms (if a new player)

 Certifications & Background checks - $20                                                              - travel expenses (gas, hotel, food)

Gym rental - $400                                                                                            - If a team qualifies for Nationals, the cost of entry 

Tournament Fees - $400                                                                                  and coaches’ travel will be divided amongst that team.

Coaches Pay - $350

Coaches Travel (hotel and gas) - $150

Extra Equipment

(Volleyballs, carts, medical kits…) - $30

 

**This is a maximum cost breakdown, the fee’s have a chance to drop considerably depending on tournament schedule **

 

Fundraising will be available throughout the season to help with costs.
