Rob is the only member of the Yankees to have professional baseball experience, having played previously in the Central league in Texas. Rob played his college baseball at Indiana Purdue-Fort Wayne.
In his first season with the Yankees Rob was the team's MVP. He was the ace of the Yankees pitching staff collecting a team high 6 wins, and a dominating 59 strikeouts in 43 innings pitched.
Rob was also the team's top offensive threat hitting .523 with a team record tying 6 homeruns and team record 31 run scored.
