Chris has provided steady play for the Yankees at both corners for several years. On July 11th 2004 Chris collected three hits in the Yankees 10-9 win over Deerfield Construction. In that same game Chris made his first pitching appearance in over 30 years and picked up the save.
In 2005 Chris hit .383 including a homerun against the Rockies at Sycamore on July 17th.
Chris also has a knack for being hit by pitches. Although there is no official count we believe his career total is somewhere near Don Baylor's major league record.
When Chris isn't getting plunked by pitches he serves ad s the varsity baseball coach for Sycamore High School.
