Welcome to the Cincinnati Storm! We are a 17 year old select team entering its eighth year of competitive baseball. Over the years the Storm has proven to be one of the best teams in greater Cincinnati as well as the state of Ohio. In our first seven years we have experienced great success and alot of fun. Our goal now is to prepare each young man for the best chance to play collegiate baseball. 2009 is looking even better. Please sign our guestbook and stop by often!

STORM MOTTOS: "Great teams know how to win." "It's not over till it's over."

MATT MAUPIN INVITATIONAL

Defending their 2007 Championship title the Storm once again faced the Columbus Big Katz in the final game. After a rough first inning the Storm gives up 5 runs on 2 hits and 5 walks. The deficit was too much and the Storm go down 7-5. End result Storm finishes 2nd.

SCHAUMBURG INVITATIONAL

The Storm finish pool play at 3-1. The only loss came to Top Tier after a blown 5 run lead in the next to last inning. Of 28 tournament teams, the Storm tied for 1st with the best record but did not advance due to a runs allowed tie breaker. The Championship round was rained out in this event. Still a very strong showing by the Storm. End result Storm tied 1st on record, 10th via tie breaker.

BEST OF THE MIDWEST

30 teams participated at this great event and the Storm finished pool play as the #1 seed heading into the Championship bracket. The semi-final matched the Storm against the Schaumburg Seminoles National team. Once again, a rough start put the Storm in a big hole. The Storm battled back and out hit the Seminoles but go on to lose 9-6. WIth 5 errors and 13 men left on base ( 3X with bases loaded) the Storm could not get it done. Kudos to the Seminoles for turning several double plays to stop rallies. End result Storm finishes 3rd.

BCS REGIONAL

22 of the toughest teams in the midwest competed at this event. The Storm played very well in pool play going 3-1 but missed out on being pool winner due to a tiebraker. 12 teams make it to the Championship round and the Storm earns a #5 seed, the best seed after the pool winners. However, the Storm loses to the St. Louis Gamers Blue 9-2. Slippery field conditions, errors, and a devastating 6' 5" LHP from the Gamers resulted in a poor performance by the Storm team. End result Storm finishes 9th.

AAU Division 1 Junior Olympic Games

Competition was good at the games held in Detroit. The Storm held there own in every game even though injuries and other factors sidelined many players which left the Storm patched up. The highlight was that the Storm was the only team to beat the champion MGBA Eagles in the event by a score of 5-0. End result Storm finishes 6th.
