Welcome to our website. For the 2012-2013 season we expect to have over 50 Chugiak Mustang nordic ski racers competing against other Anchorage and Alaska high school ski teams. Our team is made up of new skiers and veterans, from freshman to seniors. The team trains on the Municipality of Anchorage 17 kilometer Beach Lake Ski Trail system. Swix Wax Wizard

Having trouble selecting the wax-of-the-day? Swix wax has a Wax Wizard website where you can input the weather and snow conditions, and the Wizard will give you the appropriate glide or kick wax to use. Just click on the "Swix Wax Guideline" headline above. Remember, if the trails have been groomed, the snow should be considered "old" snow. If you want updated humidity for the Chugiak-Eagle River area, go the National Weather Service Birchwood airport current observations website to get the relative humifity (RH%)at: http://pafc.arh.noaa.gov/obs.php.
