Congratulations to all the skiers that participated in this weekend's race! We faced bitter cold temps and had a strong showing throughout the team. We are making do with what little show we have and will continue to improve! Hope everyone is staying warm and see you all this next week!

The Mustang boys took a solid 2nd place in the overall team awards after 3 difficult days of racing, and our girls took a very respectable 6 th place. Way to go Amy, Sam, Sarissa, Shannon, Kate, Malea, James, Robert, Isaac, Tim, David, and Alex!

Congratulations to Issac Lammers for his 2011-2012 Alaska State High School Ski Championships Skimeister Award for the fastest male in the 2 days of competition. Likewise, congrats to Alex Loan for placing 5th, David McPhetres 10th, and Sarissa Lammers 6th in the overall results.

Wednesday, March 2
For the first time in school history, the Chugiak girls won the State ski championship, while the boys took third. The girls and boys combined times for the three days of competition was tops in the state, as was their combined relay times. A great weekend of skiing for Chugiak.
