Welcome to our website. For the 2008-2009 season we expect to have over 60 Chugiak Mustang nordic ski racers competing against other Anchorage and Alaska high school ski teams. Our team is made up of new skiers and veterans, from freshman to seniors. The team trains on the Municipality of Anchorage 17 kilometer Beach Lake Ski Trail system. Region IV 2009 Championship Team and Skimeister Results
For the first time in CHS history the girls ski team has a Region IV championship banner to hang in our gym. In addition, Alyson McPhetres outskied every other girl in Region IV to take home the girls Skimeister Award. And last but not least, our team won the 2008-09 Green Grunt Spirit Award. Well done Mustang skiers, your coaches and parents are proud of each and every one of you!

Region IV Championships Information
Both races at Kincaid Park. Friday's skate race begins at noon, while Saturday's classic relay kicks off at 11 a.m. Skiers will be released from class at 9:00 a.m. Friday then take the bus to Kincaid. Saturday all skiers need to be at the ski room by 7:45 a.m. Skiers will prep their classic skis on Friday afternoon after returning from Kincaid. Click on the link for start lists. Last Practice Info
For all CHS skiers (other than the State Championship skiers) the last official practice is Monday, Feb 23. This a mandatory practice and all skiers must return their equipment, along with team coats and race suits laundered and clean. Then everyone will assist in cleaning the ski room. CHUGIAK STAMPEDE RESULTS
Way 2 go Mustang skiers! Great results yesterday on our CHS-hosted race. Our Girls A team took first, the Boys A team was 4th, and everyone skied well. Keep up the good work! CHS HIGH SCHOOL SKI TEAM 2008-2009 SEASON
Another season of Chugiak Mustang high school skiing is upon us. The season officially begins Monday, Nov 3 at 2:30 in the CHS ski room. Make sure you have your current physical, activity fee, and participation paperwork completed. Practice begins at 2:30 and goes finishes between 4:30 and 5 everyday. 2007 State Championships, Day 3 Relay Results

The CHS girls team of Erin Johnson, Alyson McPhetres, Annie Brownlee, and Alice Bradley skied strong and fast placing 2nd in the state championship relays today. Congratulations girls. On the boys side, Jason Murphy, Jacob Hakala, Sam Brewer, and Forrest Meyen raced to a respectable 14th place in today's difficult relay. We're proud of all of our state skiers. Saturday, February 24

2007 State Championships, Day 1 Freestyle Results
Click on the heading for results from today's difficult freestyle races. The girls came in 4th place overall missing out of third by 7 seconds, and the boys took 12th. Notable performances include Alyson McPhetres 9th place, Alice Bradley's 11th place, Erin Johnson's 17th place, and Forrest Meyen's 24th place. Region IV Championships, Day 2 Results
Click on the heading for today's results. The Mustang A team girls took 3rd place in today's race, and 4th place overall for the Region competition. And to put icing on the cake the also won the Region IV GPA award. In addition, Chugiak girls won the D class race today.
