It all started with a question: “What do you think about a grass infield?” It went from there and that is how Tootie Parsons Memorial Stadium got the “face-lift” that fans see today.
None of this would have been possible without the financial commitments of the Crane Park Board and the Crane R-III Board of Education.
The new grass infield, the new backstop, the extended dugouts, the new fence, the drainage system and many other things are a result of volunteer labor by many people throughout the community. Equipment and labor were donated by the City of Crane and many, many others.
To try to name all who donated time or materials would be a futile effort. Thanks to all of the players, parents and others who spent their own time working to make this all happen.
