| Just wanted to share a real neat soft toss machine that we purchased. (Ultimate Hitting Machine) My kids hit off it about 5 times a week for at least 1/2 hour a day. It has really improved their batting average. They absolutely love it, but I think I love it more than they do, because I don't have to soft toss to them as much any more. I can just sit back and observe. |

Go Citrus Heights! Baseball has such great memories. One of my best players was a 12 year old pitcher I had back in the 1980's who would take a miniature 'GI Joe' action figure to the mound and place it next to his feet when he pitched (for good luck I suppose--we did win a title that year). But the weird part is that the other teams just laughed. Nobody ever complained about the toy.
Have a terrific season!
Best regards from Rick Fishman, author of Sandlot Summit, the funniest youth baseball story ever. |
