Hello All,

Although the 2010 Baseball season is still months away for our players, this is the time of year that CCLL board members begin planning of league field projects, fees, registration, fundraiser, by-laws approval and all other ideas for improving the quality of our league for the up-incoming season. Last years Chico Central Little League Board Members worked together to implement new ideas for improving the structure, organization and communication in our League. We continued for the third year to put much of our resources and time into the improvement of our fields. These are just a few of the many things it takes to run a successful Little League Program.

If you are interested in returning or becoming a new CCLL Board Member, or would like to find out more about it, on the behalf of CCLL Board I would like to invite you to our next meeting. The CCLL Board has positions that need to be filled and nrquire no experience, only your time committment. We are looking to have 15 Board Members. If you are uncertain that you have the time to committ, you can become a member at large, which means you must still attend monthly board meetings. You can introduce your views and ideas during general board meetings, although you do not have voting rights. Rather than holding a board position of responsibility your services can be used to assist Board Members in a wide range of areas.
