A) Under no circumstances shall anyone get injured. This is strictly forbidden!
B) It is a requirement that in every minute of involvement with the CHICKS WITH STICKS league that each registered player, official, timekeeper, and referee have FUN. There will be NO exceptions.
C) Everyone must follow rules A & B!
THANKS TO COACH ISAACSON FOR THE ABOVE RULES.
1. Games will be (3) 11 1/2 minute time periods.
2. No team time outs will be awarded.
3. Playoff games will have a 5 minute 4 on 4 overtime to determine the winner, followed by a shootout format if neccessary.
4. No checking.
5. No slap shots.
6. The "TAG UP" offsides rule applies
7. No spectators or children allowed behind the bench or in the scorekeeping area during practices, warm-ups, or games. Players, game officials, and league officials only.
8. Referee and/or league directors decisions are final.
9. Flash photography allowed from stands only.
10.Substitue players allowed according to rules posted. Official rules subject to change as needed and will be updated here.
11.The league will play a modified color line system, with each player assigned a color of Red, Green, or Yellow.
12. Players will play minimum 1.5 minute shifts, with a maximum of 2 minutes.
Lines changed as a complete line only.
13. All players must wear full hockey equipment while on the bench or ice at all times. Equipment will include an H.E.C.C. approved hockey helmet with full wire or plastic face shield and approval sticker visible. Hockey gloves, elbow pads, shoulder pads, full padded hockey pants, a Jill athletic supporter, and shin guards.
Mouth guards and neck guards are highly recommended but not mandatory.
14. Remember, NO EXCEPTIONS to rules A, B, and C

| a) Red Shortage - Anyone can rotate up to Red Line, Green or Yellow. | |||
| b) Green Shortage - Red never rotates down, Never. Only yellow can rotate up. Any Yellow can rotate up. | |||
| c) Yellow Shortage - The last one or two green players are your yellow line. They play the entire game all yellow shifts. Then any of those players rotate up to green line for that game. | |||
| d) Mass Shortage - Mass shortage means if there are many missing resulting in 12 forwards or less, and your team requires assistance from other teams players. "Subs" can only be allowed to be the from the same draft round or lower, no exceptions! |

Fighting
There is no tolorance for fighting in this fun developmental league. The rules are clear and will not be waived for any circumstance.
1) Any fighting during a game will force an automatic game ejection, and a one game suspension for the next game.
2) Any second fighting issue will result in an automatic league ejection with no refund.
Absolutly no fighting will be tolorated. Keep it fun for all!!
