Position: Shortstop - INF Height: 5'10 Weight: 175 School: King College Profile: Jake is playing with the Patriots for the second time on 2007. In 2006, Jake was named the Patriots MVP for both his offensive production as a 1-2 hitter, as well as his solid defensive abilities up the middle. As a standout shortstop at Miami University of Hamilton, Jake led the Harriers in batting average (.399) last year and hit .333 as a true freshman in 2005. In 2007, Jake received a scholarship to King College in Tennessee, where he played both SS and 3B for the Tornados. A solid hitter in any spot, "Flash" offers speed at the top of the line-up and terrific range up the middle. Jake was also a four year starter at Clermont Northeastern High School where he earned 1st team All-Conference Honors as a Freshman, Junior and Senior. As a full-time student, Jake resides in Tennessee.
