THE 2009 CHELSEA LITTLE LEAGUE BASEBALL SEASON HAS ARRIVED!!!!!!!

THE TWO TIME DEFENDING CHAMPION METS ARE ONCE AGAIN IN THE CHAMPIONSHIP SERIES.THE DIAMONDBACKS AND DEVILRAYS HAVE FORCED A DECIDING GAME THREE BUT THE DEVILRAYS WERE ABLE TO PULL THE WIN AWAY.
THE DEVILRAYS WILL BE PLAYING THE METS FOR THE TITLE. THE METS ARE LOOKING TO WIN THERE THREE STRAIGHT TITLE, WHILE THE DEVILRAYS ARE TRYING TO SPOIL THAT OPPORTUNITY.
AUGUST 31,2009 @ 6 PM IS SCHEDULED FOR GAME ONE.
Game #1 went 7 innning with several lead changes. The devilrays took the lead into the bottom of the 7th, but the Mets scored three runs to take game #1 as the winning run was a SCORED with the last play at the plate. 12-11.
Game #2 went to the Devilrays who exploded for 13 runs winning 13-6.
Game three had the Mets going on top 4-0, but the Rays struck back with 4 runs tying the game. A three run homer tied it for them. The Rays scored 5 more runsto take a 9-4 lead.
But in the end, poor playing decisions by the Rays helped the Mets close in and eventually take game # 3 away and the crown becoming three time defending champions.

The Chelsea Little League Parade was a success in 2008 and we hope to bring it back in 2009 !!!!!! If anyone has any ideas for the parade, please e-mail me with your suggestions.

AS ALWAYS CORI APPLICATIONS AND MANAGER/COACHES APPLICATIONS MUST BE FILLED OUT BEFORE GIVEN A SPOT. CORI APPLICATIONS AND COACHES APPLICATIONS CAN BE DOWNLOADED FROM THIS WEB SITE OR PICKED UP AT ANY OF OUR REGISTRATION DATES LISTED ON THE CALENDER.
THE 2009 CHELSEA LITTLE LEAGUE BASEBALL ELECTIONS FOR BOARD POSITIONS WILL BE HELD SUNDAY OCTOBER 4, 2009 AT THE FRENCH CLUB FROM 6PM TO 830 PM..
The elections are over and the following persons have accepted their positions for the 2010 Chlesea Little League Season:

Congradulations to those who have taken the oppurtunity to help the league and the kids for the upcoming season.
There is one vacant slot open if there are any interested person who would like to run and help the league. You can contact any of the members and then be presented and nominated at the next Baseball Meeeting.
