03/21/08: Midwest Cheer Expo Mardi Gras Open Nationals (Comp #7)

CWS closes the 2008-09 Cheer Season in STYLE!

Kettering, OH - The CWS Saints All Star cheer squads once again competed like champions, but came up just short of 1st place, and was awarded 2nd place at the Midwest Cheer Expo Mardi Gras Open Nationals on Saturday, March 21st. Both the Youth Level 2 and the Senior Open Level 4 squads finished 2nd among a host of squads that came out to showcase their talents. We can not be more proud of the girls' efforts this season. The All-Star division of our squads was formed THIS season and our young ladies have been stunting for a mere 6 months! They have far surpassed the goals that we set out to reach this season. We are eagerly looking forward to next season to reach even higher goals!  Way to go CWS!!! Let's Go Saints!!!

03/08/09: AmeriCheer March Madness All Star Championships (Comp #6)

CWS Saints still flyin' HIGH!

Pickerington, OH - The CWS Saints competition cheer squads once again competed like champions and won 1st/2nd Place & HIGH POINT Champion awards in AmeriCheer's March Madness All Star Championships on Sunday, March 8th. Our Teenie-Weenies made their competition debut and brought the crowd to their feet, taking 2nd Place in their division. We were so proud of them competing ALL by themselves and against older girls! CWS has a very bright future with our Teenie-Weenies! The Youth Level 2 had a STELLAR performance and wowed the crowd with their high-flyin' tosses!  Youth Level 2 was awarded 1st Place and was crowned HIGH POINT CHAMPION in their division! Youth Level 2 fell short of GRAND CHAMPION of the entire competition by only 1.4 points behind a Senior Coed Level 5 squad!!! We are SOOOO proud of the girls!  The Senior Open Level 4 squad turned up their showmanship and took 2nd Place in their division.  Both the Junior Level 3 NM and Senior Prep Level 5 NM ended their competition season on Sunday. Both squads turned in a great performance and received 1st Place in their division.  The CWS Saints All Star squads will travel to Kettering, OH, on March 21st for their final cheer competition of the season.

02/08/09: AmeriCheer Y Bridge City All Star Challenge (Comp #5)

CWS Saints start the New Year off in GRAND fashion!

Zanesville, OH - The CWS Saints competition cheer squads competed like champions and swept 1st place & Grand Champion awards in AmeriCheer's Y Bridge All Star Challenge Cheer Competition on Sunday, February 8th. Our Teenie-Weenies and future FANTABULOUS All-Stars wowed the crowd (as usual) and received rave reviews from the AmeriCheer judges! The Youth Level 2 debuted their routine as the newly combined Youth Level 2 and brought tears to our eyes. With only one single mistake in the entire routine, the girls took 1st place and left their hearts on the floor in a performance of a lifetime! We are SOOOO proud of the girls!  The Senior Open Level 4 squad also took 1st Place honors and performed an AWESOME and nearly FLAWLESS routine. They left no doubt who was #1! Both the Junior Level 3 NM and Senior Prep Level 5 NM took control of the competition mat and received 1st place honors as well.  Despite a few tumbling flaws, the Senior Prep Level 5 NM commanded attention and was crowned GRAND CHAMPION of the entire competition!  As co-owners and coaches, we can not be more proud of our girls.  We realize that nearly all of our athletes double squad (and even triple squad - thank you Amancia!). However, that does not stop them from putting their EVERYTHING into each routine.  If a tumbling or stunt fall should happen to occur, we know that they have given it their ALL.  We expect them to get right back up, shake it off, and continue proving who is #1! As coaches, we decrease so that the girls can increase and perform the talents that God has given them to the very best of their abilities.  It's all about you girls - continue to TEAR IT UP!!! The CWS Saints will travel to Pickerington, OH, on March 8th for their next cheer competition.
