L-STAND

L-Stand:
Two people are required for this stunt, a base and a flyer. Thus is a relatively basic stunt, and is mostly used when learning stunting technique.
Step One:
The base will stand in a lunge position. With her body facing forward, she will lunge her legs out to the side. Her right leg will be bent at a 90-degree angle at the knee, and her left leg will be straight. Make sure the base is in a comfortable and confident position because another girl will be climbing onto her. It is very important that the right leg be bent at a 90-degree angle because the flyer needs a flat surface to stand on.
Step Two:
The flyer will place her right foot into the pocket of her base (the place where the hip and the leg meet).
Step Three:
The Base will then wrap her right arm around the leg of the flyer, holding her knee and securing her leg to the base. The base will also place her left hand on the foot of the flyer to add extra support.
Step Four:
With her leg secure, she will place her hands on the shoulders of the base and step up onto the bases lunged leg. The flyer's leg needs to be straight, and the knee needs to be locked. Once comfortable, the flyer should then take her back leg and hold it out to the side, making an L Formation. Her arms should also hit an L position.
Step Five:
When the flyer lifts her leg into an L Position, the base will then move her left hand from holding the flyers foot, to holding the flyers leg in the L Position.
Things to Remember while performing the stunt:
1). The Base should keep her leg as level as possible so the flyer has a sturdy surface to stand.
2). The flyer must keep her leg straight and her knee locked at all times.
3). The Base must constantly hold the flyers' leg tight and sturdy on her leg.
The Dismount:
1. The Flyer will move her back leg over the head of her base, and then step down onto the ground.
2. The Base's responsibility is to keep the flyer steady as she comes down from her stunt.
