WELCOME TO THE HOME OF THE 18 GOLD CHATTANOOGA FORCE
The Chattanooga Force Organization was formed in 2001 with a single 10U team out of Snow Hill in Ooltewah, TN. That team has graduated HS and has moved on to the collegiate ranks. The Force 94 team was formed in the Fall of 2008. Like the team that has moved on, this 18 Gold team will have the same goals. We will be competing primarily in ASA events with the goal each year of qualifying for and competing in the ASA Nationals. Along with the goal of competing in the ASA Nationals, the 18 Gold Force will be playing Gold Qualifiers and Showcase Events.
Another goal we will have during 2012-2013 will be getting these ladies prepared for style of play at the collegiate level. We will continually strive for high academic standards to get each of these student athletes off to the right start and also will meet many times during 2012-2013 season to assist with keeping the momentum going during the recruiting process.
To get these ladies ready to play at the next level, hard work and dedication will be the keys during practice and preparing for games. All players will be accountable for their play and focus on "team play" will be part of preparation. The players who make up the Chattanooga Force have committed to continually striving to improve their play and through a strong work ethic will be the foundation of great things to come. With the emphasis on team play, we will have a great time along the way to achieving our goals.
The Chattanooga Force now has teams in 18 Gold, 16U, 14U, 12U and 10U. Coaching the 12U team is Pat Sullivan and the 14U team is coached by Kim Smith. In 2011-2012 we added the 10U Chattanooga Force 02 which is coached by Dewayne Campbell. New to the Chattanooga Force Organization for the 2012-2013 season is the 16U Chattanooga Force 97 coached by Dale Jones. With the help of the 18 Gold group as well as the Force players currently playing in college, we will continue to nurture the younger age groups so they can realize the same success and carry on the tradition of Successful Force Softball!!!!!!!

There were 40 Teams competing in the Fall Scenic City 16's Showcase in Chattanooga Nov 5-7. The Chattanooga Force went 4-0 in their pool to win the Pool and advance to the Elite 8. The Force finished with a 4-2 record. The Force wins in their pool came over East Cobb Bullets- Walters (5-0), Knoxville Lady Aces (4-1), Birmingham Vipers (2-1) and finally to an excellent Illinois Southern Force Team (2-1). The losses came to the Louisville Lady Sluggers in an out of pool showcase game (4-2) and the Cruisers in an elimination game (5-2) aided by a very tricky sun at 1B which contributed to 3 runs. CHATTANOOGA FORCE 14's FIRST IN TENNESSEE TO EARN ASA NATIONAL BERTH
In the first TN ASA National Qualifier of 2009, the Chattanooga Force 14's earned a trip to Marietta, GA to compete for the ASA National Championship. As a newly formed team in this age group, our number one goal was to qualify for ASA National Championship play (the biggest stage in youth softball) With hard work in the fall and winter, but with very limited practice time before the first qualifier, these ladies really came through and played as a team like they have been together for many years to claim the first available TN berth. 21 teams were in the tournament playing for the ASA berth.
This team did it in undefeated fashion going 5-0 against some high quality opponents by outscoring the competition 30-3. Clutch hitting, great defense and superb pitching were the keys to success. The Force path to 1st place started against the Riverdale Lady Warriors: 12-1, Chatt Fury 94: 5-1, Chatt Fury 95: 6-0, Knoxville Lady Aces: 2-0 and in the finals the Nashville Cruisers would have had to beat us twice as the Force posted the 5-1 win in (2) International Tie Breaker Innings. Congratulations to the Cruisers as they came a long way in the losers bracket for a 2nd place finish.
But again, congratulations to the Chattanooga Force ladies as they punched their ticket to play for the ASA National Championship at the end of July in Marietta, GA.
