Charlotte and Shelburne Coach Pitch Division Joining Forces!

Charlotte Little League is excited to announce that starting in this 2014 season the Triple A coach pitch players will be joining forces with the Shelburne Little League coach pitch Farm teams and be playing games and having practices at both the Charlotte Berry Farm Fields and Shelburne Little League fields. For years CLL has played games with SLL and now we will create our teams together at this Coach pitch level!

Parking @ Berry Farm

We are fortunate to have great baseball fields due to the hard work and love of the game by a key group of people whose players are now on high school varsity rosters or playing at the college level.  Unfortunately, the Berry Farm Fields have limited parking.

Parents of player, coaches and visitors are asked to carpool, park close together in the designated parking lot, and respect the "No Parking" areas.  You may arrive at the complex and the lot is relatively empty, always assume that there are other teams arriving at a later time and be courteous in your parking.  Park as close to the car beside you as possible.  Overflow parking is located adjacent to the Berry Farm Stand to the north of Bill Peter Field.

NO PARKING ZONES
*  There is no parking on, in or around the circle to the south of the facility per order of CVFR.
*  There is no parking on the roadway leading from Rte 7 to the entrance to CLL fields.
*  There is no parking beyond the entrance to CLL fields along the tree line and split rail fence - this is an active farm shop even when the farm is not open for business.

When exiting CLL fields please, STOP!  You are entering an active roadway before you get to Route 7.

Your cooperation is appreciated.

To help raise funds for CLL, the Lake Monsters have offered discount tickets for a game against the Lowell Spinners in Tuesday, June 25th at 7:05. This year it is even easier to purchase tickets. By clicking the link below you can purchase these $6 discounted tickets. Half of these sales will go to Charlotte Little League. There are plenty of tickets, so you can buy for friends, family and neighbors as well.

The coaching clinic will be held from 8:00 to 8:30 am for all current coaches and any parents who want to learn about coaching and will be able to help out this season. No prior experience necessary!

Immediately following the clinic this Sunday, March 17th, we will hold open practices:

  • League age 11-12 year olds: 8:30 to 9:15 am
  • League age 9-10 year olds: 9:15 to 10:00 am.

Sunday March 24th and Sunday April 7th will again have open practices:

  • League age 11-12 year olds: 8:00 to 9:00 am
  • League age 9-10 year olds: 9:00 to 10:00 am.

For all Tee Ball and Triple A families your player will not attend these winter practices, but we encourage your attendance at the coaches clinic. We are always looking for the help!

Season schedules will be finalized in late April. Generally speaking, Tee Ball will be played Saturday mornings in May and part of June and the Triple A schedule will start in May and play to mid June and will include games with Shelburne.
