Away games and rides home...
Parents- here is the CHS athletic department policy for all away games:
Players must ride the CHS bus to and from all away games.
Players who do not ride the bus to away games may NOT play unless they have permission to arrive separately from Mr. Thompson AND they've told Coach Saunders or Coach Colley at least 1 day BEFORE the match.
Players must ride the CHS bus back to school. Players MAY be released at away games ONLY to their parents. Per CHS athletic policy, ONLY a player's parents [not siblings, grandparents, friends, etc] may drive her home after a game. A player may ride home with relative or another player's parent provided that she has a signed letter from her parent allowing her to do this AND she gives this letter to Coach Saunders or Coach Colley.
Basically, your daughter needs to ride the bus. If you [her parent] would like to take her home after a game, that's perfectly ok. If you would like her to ride home with someone else, then we need a letter from you or we will not release her for obvious safety reasons.
