Welcome to the Alliance Soccer Club U-19 Girls Alliance BLUE Web Page. Competing in our 8th San Diego Presidio Season, Alliance BLUE continues to be one of the best teams in San Diego and all of Southern California. Besides competing in the U-19 Presidio Premier Elite bracket, the team competes with the best teams in the country in the top tournaments in the United States. BLUE Wins Summer Classic, but loses Jen Jen!

Blue out scored their opponents 20-1 in winning their 4th Summer Challenge in Temecula, but the big news was JENNIFER SCHAFER breaking her ankle in the Championship Game vs. Encinitas in the 12th minute with BLUE leading 1-0. The loss of Blue's top scorer was a devasting blow to the team entering the Presidio League Season next weekend. Coach Charlie stated, "Jennifer is a major talent who was developing into one of the top scorers in the County. She will be sorely missed, I'm confident that someone will step up and score some goals for us, but replacing her beautiful smile and incredible attitude will be very difficult." Jennifer is set to return no later then Thursday, but more details will follow when her swelling goes down.:))

BLUE continued it's dominance of the Albion Cup, as it won for the third time in four years. Coach Charlie stated "The girls are really coming around. They played extremely well in the final third of the field, scoring some great goals, and of course the defense played awesome as usual. I'm excited for the season." Next up ASC Summer Classic in August.
Charlie coaching with San Diego Gauchos!
Coach CHARLIE CLEAVES will be the assistant coach for the San Diego Gauchos this year. The Gauchos are the newest franchise in the United Soccer League and will begin play May 20th at Sweetwater High School. The league is the number 1 Women's League in the United States replacing the WUSA Spirit. The San Diego Roster is made of International National Team players as well as top college and local players, including East County's SAMANTHA HIRE (Pepperdine, Christian High), CARRIE SCHMIDT (University of Texas, Grossmont High), HOKU CHING (UC Riverside, East Lake High), and DELCIE THANKACHAN (UC Davis, Steele Canyon High). Mexican National Team top scorer and Bonita Vista High Alum LINA VALDARAMMA also will be playing this summer. For tickets and or information, please see links to USL and SD Gauchos.
