2009 Football & Cheerleading Field Day is upon us and everyone who has a child participating this season needs to attend. Field Day gives the Cowboys a chance to collect all the administrative paperwork need for your child to participate. Also, there will be a Pass, Punt and Kicking Competition for any boy or girl between the ages of 8-15 which is sponsered by the NFL.
You Must Bring The Following Items.

Original Birth Certificate (No Copies)

Report Card 2008-2009 (Full Year)
-
Medical Form (Dated 2009 & Signed or Stamped by Physician)

Parent Consent Form

PPK Release of Liability Form (If competing in Pass, Punt and Kick)
Established in 1961, the PPK program is the oldest NFL Youth Football program.
Girls and boys in four separate age divisions (8-9, 10-11, 12-13, and 14-15) compete against each other in punting, passing and place kicking in a fun and engaging forum. The winners of each level of competition will have achance to compete in the Sectionals held in October or eraly November. Good Luck! NO CLEATS ALLOWED!

Cowboys 2nd Annual Golf Tournament
This years event will be held Saturday, July 18th at the well-manicured Richmond Country Club Golf Course located on Sandy Pond Road in Richmond, RI.

Important note: This year there will be a Chariho Charger Pride Football Camp! This is a great opportunity for both the Cowboy and Charger Organizations to help educate and teach consistent fundamentals and prepare our Cowboys for their next step in their football careers!

The Football camp is a two day event held at the Chariho School Campus (Switch Rd. Wood River Jct.)
The camp is July 23rd and 24th from 8:45AM with 3:00PM sharp pickup. Players will receive a Charger Pride t-shirt and water bottle. Lunch and water will be provided as well. A certified athletic trainer will be present and the camp is run rain or shine!
Mighty Mite coaches Dean Felicetti and Mike Iacobbo will also be assisting and coaching the kids. Again, for more information call or email Michelle Gempp (contact information above).

SCHOLARSHIP
Did you know the Cowboys offer a $500.00 scholarship? The Skip Kenyon Memorial Scholarship is available to applicants male or female who have participated in the Chariho Cowboys youth football and cheerleading program for at least one full year (as a participant or coach trainee). Please go to the Handouts section for more information and the application.
