Chargers Baseball Academy: Pitching Academies

2011 Chargers Pitching Academy

CBA is offering one Pitching Academy for the 2010/2011 off-season.  This academy will offer private pitching instruction in a larger group setting.  This is for the serious player only.  We feel that the energy and productivity that the group setting provides is the best way for players to develop their game.  You will be pushed to levels you may have never been to before but the gains you can make are significant.  When one breaks down these group academy sessions financially, you will recognize it is the best deal out there!  You will receive 12 hours of instruction for half the price of regular group or private leassons (or less if you purchase a Chargers Academy Membership).  Compare this to the $40 - $60 per hour you will pay for private instruction anywhere in this area, you can see the value.  There is a limited amount of athletes we will take in this academy, so it is important you register as soon as you know you can commit to the program.

Here, we focus on mechanics, command, movement, gaining velocity, effective velocity, arm health, pitcher’s conditioning, and the mental side of pitching, among other facets that go into making an effective pitcher.  Besides a throwing program that includes mechanical work, we will be using medicine balls, bands, and video analysis as just some of the tools in this academy.
Pitching Academy: (Jan/Feb, 2011 - $250)
