TRADITION OF EXCELLENCE, Est. 1962

Lyndy

The Chargers Youth Football Organization has the longest running youth football program in the KC Metro area.  Mr. Don Roberts started the organization in 1962.  They were known as the Midgets at that time.  The old Waterworks park was the site of the original Chargers.  Now, we call Waterwell Park, just across 9 highway behind Briarcliff Villiage the home for the Chargers!

Lindy Evans has been the organizations leader for over 30 years and turned the organization over to Robert Chisam in 2014.  Lindy always put the players first, and that is proven by the consistent success of the organization. Robert hopes to continue a strong Charger tradition in the Northland for many years to come.

We take great pride in our facility to make sure all players, coaches, parents, and fans have an enjoyable time, everytime they visit the Chargers home field!  We feel the presentation of our facilities shows the success of our organization.  We will also always make sure our players are fitted with high quality equipment and gear!

Chargers Philosophy:

#1  Make sure all players have an enjoyable experience

#2 Taking Pride in preparing our players for competition at the next level.

#3 We play to WIN!  But never at the risk of a players mental or physical well-being.

CHARGERS MOTTO:

ONCE A CHARGER, ALWAYS A CHARGER!
