AAA Minor-North
Ages 9-12. Players must attend a try out and where skills are assessed. Try out does not guarantee a position in this division. Competition is strongly encourage. Fundamental skill are again stressed, while development of additional skills are taught. Teams play for positioning in post season play. Mandatory play rules are enforced. 9-10 yr. olds in this division are eligible to try out for All-Stars. By rule 11-12 yr. olds in this division may not try out for All-Stars, this is not a local board decision. Division Directors: Tony Lloyd AA Minor-North Ages 8-10, The beginnings of competitive play. Players must go through a try-out to determine skill level. This is also the first level of kid pitch. Coaches may only coach from the dug out. Fundamental skill are again stressed, but games move at a faster pace, game strategies are also taught. Mandatory play is enforced. Player must attend a tryout to assess skills. While fundamental skill are still stressed, advanced skills are taught and developed. Game pace is fast. Teams play for post season.
