Chandler Girls Softball Mission
To provide Chandler and its neighboring communities a positive and safe environment
for girls ages 5-18 years of age an equal opportunity to play softball; To honor the game
by encouraging good sportsmanship, teamwork, and physical well-being, while developing
the fundamental skills of softball; And, to ensure that all players are treated as valued
team members while building lasting relationships and having FUN!! =========================================================================================================
Code of Conduct
In addition to our mission statement, Chandler Girls Softball has instituted a zero tolerance policy on poor sportsmanship. Poor sportsmanship includes, but is not limited to; yelling at umpires, players, coaches, board members or spectators, using inappropriate language or gestures, any actions that can be construed as a threat to another person or that, through aggressive intent or recklessness, may result in injury, and any public behavior that contributes to an atmosphere of conflict at the field or park in connection with a CGS game or event. The zero tolerance policy is in effect for players & coaches as well as parents and other spectators. The umpire is in control of the game & should be treated respectfully. Judgment calls should not be challenged or disputed. The good sportsmanship code extends to the treatment of players, coaches, umpires, board members & spectators.
