Majors
11-12 year olds. This division is known as Little League Baseball. Players are drafted each year for parity among competitive teams. All 12 years will play in this division. 11 years may be on a major or minor team depending on draft. 10 year olds may try out if elected by parents. This is competitive baseball at its best and whole lot of fun. 60 foot base path and 47 foot pitching mound, runners do not lead off. Post Season includes All-Stars* (11-12 and 11 year old) All-Stars play at the district tournament. If they advance they move to state, regional and possibly Williamsport PA for the Little League World Series! *11 yr old tournament stops at State Level Minors 9-11 year olds. Scores are kept as well as standings. Teams drafted each season so there's parity between all teams. 8 years olds may tryout for minor division if elected by parents. This division is just plain fun! 60 foot base path and 47 foot pitching mound, runners do not lead off. Post Season includes All-Stars (9-10 and 11 year old) district tournament. District winner advances to state tournament. Coach Pitch Coach Pitch 6-8 year olds noncompetitive, instructional. No score is kept. All players bat in continous batting order. T used if players has difficulty with hitting pitched ball. Regular baseball used. T-Ball 5-6 year olds, noncompetitive, introductory instruction for first timers. All players bat in continous batting order off T. Safty (soft) ball used. T-Ball players may be placed on Coach Pitch teams depending on number of registrants. Juniors 13-14 year olds - regulation size field, 90 foot base path and 60 foot 6 inch pitchers mound, runners lead off. Post Season includes All-Stars |
